Good morning from Malta where it looks like another pleasant day.

Good to hear you are getting your jab, Mick, glad your brother can take you.

I’m already glued to the tennis although the ten hour time difference means I’ve missed a couple of matches I would have liked to watch. I remember my sister getting up in the wee small hours to watch cricket from Australia, clearly I’m not as dedicated a fan as I need my eight hours sleep.?

Wishing you all the best day possible. Take care.☀️

Good morning Mick and co from a breezy but dry Torbay.

Post vaccination update: headache from early afternoon yesterday and again this morning with a stiff arm today but paracetamol interspersed with ibuprofen to the rescue. It so happens I have little planned for today, apart from a toddle to local shops!

Seeing kittylester's amazing icicle photos yesterday brought to mind a little anecdote from my teaching days:
The weather was similar to recent days and a Y5 girl came rushing into a mobile classroom, excitedly exclaiming,
“Come and see outside! There are t***icles hanging from the guttering!!”

I hope that has started your weekend with a smile and all your troubles will gradually melt away.
