If we’re going to have the inevitable pile on then large soft cushions all over the floor will be idea, preferably without ‘world’s greatest Mum’.

Well, cushions are square and pillows are oblong. Except if you are in the US when sometimes it's the other way around. Oh, but what about floor cushions?

When was the last time you extracted the hidden needles from your pin cushion and how many were there?

I shall confess........I am probably cushion obsessed they are on every bed, sofa and chair in the house. Round ones, square ones and long ones, big ones and small ones. Unfortunately MrGG13 is not a fan!

I think the sale of cushions should be banned from henceforth as they are a major source of waste. Both in their creation and their disposal.

I've always wondered how you distinguished between cushions and pillows on a bed. Is it the size or the shape?

How can you worry about trivialities such as diagonal or where to put cushions when there are much bigger issues at stake.

I think we have to define exactly what a cushion is before we get into that. Are we counting floor cushions? Ones on beds? Or are we limiting it to things on seats. Is a bean bag a cushion?
