Good Morning Everyone,
Its still dark here in Brackley but remains dry.
Yesterday , I placed a chilled meat order with Parley Box , just to try out there selection.
I am hoping today later to have confirmation of when it is due.
Otherwise an easy watching cycle racing on Eurosport, and maybe pick up a prescription
later .
Take care,
Mick

Greetings to all- sorry I'm too late for 'Good Morning'- where does the time go when you're busy doing nuffink?!
Saw this 'poster' this morning re the 'roadmap' to 'freedom' and thought it might be useful to some. Thinking of those with worries, and hope the day is ok for all. x

Good morning, oops, good afternoon from wet and windy Anglesey. If I go out with an open brolly today I fear I'll be sailing over Pantglas rooftop like Mary Poppins.
I did pop in earlier but couldn't post, that's my story and I'm sticking to it.
Have as good a day as you can folks, nearly spring.

Nannytopsy Tue 23-Feb-21 12:43:27

Hurrah! It’s working! Beautiful day in Suffolk, the birds are singing and I have been planting seeds in the greenhouse - still a novelty. Yesterday I had the call and I am off for my vaccine this afternoon. ?
I hope the day is kind to everyone

Marydoll it’s good to hear Rouken Glen is still lovely. I can remember clearly the excitement of seeing the waterfall as a young child.

Yay finally been able to post.
Now to catch up I a few comments from yesterday

Litterpicker RG is as lovely as ever. I have been avoiding it, as it is so busy, not safe for me. It's at least 20 minutes away for me. I love the waterfall there.

The park I was in yesterday, isn't as large and was reasonably quiet.

Good morning while it still is. A sunny but breezy morning here in West Sussex. I hoped I would feel more like getting going with the lighter mornings but I have got into bad habits - need a body clock reset.

Urmstongran I think I know what you mean about liking lockdown in some way. I think it’s the freedom from too many choices and decisions that I find peaceful. It seems strange to say that as, being retired, I should be relatively free to do what I like but sometimes that’s the problem. Can’t wait to see gc’s properly though.

Dwmxwg I hope Mum, Dad and Freddie all improve - it’s harder to see those you love suffering than suffering yourself.

Gwenisgreat1 I grew up within a mile or so of Rouken Glen and loved going there, from Sunday afternoon walks with my parents and sister to fun on the boating lake with friends as a teenager. It was a mention of RG on this thread, by Kalu to Marydoll I think, that drew me in originally.

flowers to all having a hard time.

Morning every from a dry but very windy NE, at least its not raining. Had my Covid Vax yesterday and DH getting his on Friday, very busy day Friday, as its also my birthday and we are MOVING, don't do things by half me. its taken us 4 weeks to move due to problems getting things done, but they seem to be coming together now. Looking forward to getting in and having a bottle of bubbly and a take away to celebrate. Hope everyone is keeping well and safe.

Good morning all. Pouring with cold rain in the north of Scotland. Thank you for answering my questions yesterday sheep. I looked at the local sheep here with new eyes as I drove to the dump yesterday. I am clearing out the loft and it makes me very sad, so many memories and things that are no use to anyone else. I don’t like throwing out; part of being brought by “make do and mend” family. Enough of being mauling. I ate a whole bag of toffee as a comfort.
Lentil soup today; it will be nicer tomorrow. I watched “Forgotten” last night. Rather good.
Best wishes to you all. We need to keep on keeping on for a bit longer.

Good morning from very windy Devon, sun is battling to break through the clouds. Morning at home today, no medical appointments but I do need to go out as I want some bread from our lovely Bakery & need to post a Birthday Card.

My leg is healing very slowly, worst attack of Cellulitis yet, I spent 11 days in Hospital, 2 weeks in self isolation due to two patients testing positive for Covid on the ward (tested every 3 days, 4 tests for me all negative). Loving my freedom even if it is just to attend the Surgery for dressing changes & last Friday to local Community Hospital for Podiatry.

I now have to wean myself off the antibiotics as they don't appear to be helpingconfused. I find it painful to rest it & standing is painful but walking isn't too bad.

Had my Covid jab just over a week ago, looking forward to the proposed relaxation of lockdown as announced by Boris yesterday although I've still been out as normal with all necessary precautions. I've had more medical appointments in the last year than I've ever had in my life non Covid related , mostly for Cellulitis, hope they find a way of dealing with it but I suspect I'm going to have problems for the rest of my life which is a worrying prospect as I'm only 65

Good morning goodmorningers. Rather grey but dry in the Gower this morning. Quite a contract to yesterday which really felt like Spring has sprung.

I had my blood pressure check yesterday and it was fine, in fact the nurse said it was excellent for someone my age. Ahem, charming! We had a trip into the village afterwards and it was wonderful to see the sea at high tide in the glorious sunshine ?. Curiously the moon was visible in the sky all day too ?

Another trip out today. I know, it's getting to be a habit ?. It's only to pick up our groceries, click & collect. I suppose I'd better get a shimmy on really, I'm on a go slow this morning nothing new there then.

Love the photos this morning, especially the newborn and mum Sheepandcattle ?.
Take care everyone, especially those in the sick bay and those who have DHs in the sick bay.
I hope all the goodmorningers find something to ? about today ❤️
