50 years, a deserved celebration, worth an extra glug from LUFC.
Had my first jab yesterday, seamlessly delivered, next one May, hoping our local might be open by then. We have a pub team that do the Sky super six every week, it’s a prediction of six games, free, available worldwide, but we all chip in a few £ every season. I won it two years ago, only female amongst 25 males, see how it goes this year. Our Covid alert level has been dropped today from 5 to 4, went down to 3 last summer ? it keeps going down.
Take care ?

Another Golden Event is imminent; only 3 days to go to the 50th anniversary of our arrival on these golden shores when we arrived at a brand spanking new Tullamarine Airport opened just the day before.
It was almost as empty then as it is now, 50 years later! hmm We haven't regretted a single one of them. Never thought of "going back" although returning for family/holiday visits were fine as they generally coincided with your summers! grin

Alan Joyce announced a 1.5 billion first-half loss for Qantas today, with bleak prospects for a speedy return to International flights' sad

Now here's another thing just to prove we were/are stick-in-the-muds!; two months after landing we bought this house!
Brand new "spec house" and "stuck" here. After moving 12,000miles from Windsor I guess we had no appetite for further packing cases. grin

Yes, Jaxjacky! "Oops " in triplicate! 3-0
Good 0n ya Leeds! Haven't worked out what to do with my winnings yet, but possibly buy a few celebratory bottles for Sunday! Toast anything that moves; even possums when it's nightfall! grin

We are now being promised even more easing of restrictions from tomorrow, such as group limits and face-masks.
The news from a Queensland retirement village is rather disturbing, an elderly couple getting about 7 times the normal dose in one hit.
I imagine they'll be watched very closely for some time.

Must start rehearsing a few toasts for Sunday!
Our Aussie neighbours will think I'm mad when they hear toasts in Welsh, Irish and even Scotch, thanks to Google!
