Tomorrow I have to go to the haematology clinic at the hospital. My metabolic disease consultant has noticed my last full bloods were a year ago. I’ve quite enjoyed the break tbh but needs must.

I have just fallen part way downstairs so I think I’d better go to bed before I damage something grin

Good luck. I tripped up on my walk today and landed on the pavement in a heap. No damage done fortunately..blush

Blossoming, I got a phone on Monday asking me to go for bloods at the hospital the following morning. They hadn't been done for that particular consultant for eighteen months, due to my shielding. It was a totally surreal experience. I was the only one in the clinic!

Thank you for your kind words, just one small bruise from last night’s attempt at the Staircase Bobsleigh! The hospital was very quiet compared to usual and well organised. The consultant will ring me on Thursday to discuss the results.
