I grew up working class in the ‘50’s and ‘60’s and none of the women I knew could be described like that. All working women who raised children in the war years and after, managing without their husbands for years and doing a great job of working and make do and mending. The men had a shock when they came home and found these feisty, independent wives waiting for them.

The only antidepressants I ever knew of was from doctors prescribing smoking for their nerves. My dear old mum shortened her life because of this, but always said she’d give up when the doctor (long dead) told her to!

So having decided to marry Prince William, she has looked at the right way to support her husband in his designated role, she is polite, friendly, chatty, tactful, has developed very specific areas of interest and supportive input within the role for herself (early years; scouts and probably others I dont know about), has reacted strongly using the law (with her husband) quite rightly to personal photos being taken of her by paparazzi (ie not taken such behaviour lying down) ...but she's "just a subservient wife behaving like someone out of the 1950's!!!

Well one of the things it stands for and represents is a woman's right to choose and that women should not be denigrated for the choices they make which includes a life of domesticity.

I think it is very easy to make claims when you know the other party won't stoop to your level and go on television to reply.

Have only seen snippets of the chat, but my opinion of Harry has plummeted. That he is happy to allow innocent members of his family to be under the cloud of suspicion of being racist is incredibly cruel. Don't make the allegation if you're not prepared to identify the culprit. How is it the only ones he's prepared to "put in the clear" are the Queen and Prince Philip, but happy to smear all the rest? I didn’t watch it but there is NO way that this would have changed my opinion. In my opinion this who episode has NOTHING to do with racism, and everything to do with the spoilt brats inability to understand that being within the Royal family demands a strong sense of duty and NOT always being the centre of attention. Of course the RF have enormous benefits and privileges, but the cost if that is living in a goldfish bowl. If you don’t want the latter then just clear off and live your life privately, BUT then DON’T go courting publicity. The poll also showed most support for the RF comes from the older generation not younger ones, and this appears similar on here with a few renegade outliers like me! Bodes well for a Republican future

Robotic, well I know the advancement in robotics is amazing but I doubt they'll ever produce one with such a beautiful smile, kind and empathetic eyes and a natural ability to put others' at their ease. That also applies to being void of having emotions.

I have always had sympathy for Harry and thought she was a beauty and an asset but feel the opposite now. Hearing Harry speak about having his money cut off whilst being immensly rich made me think what a selfish pair they are. It did rather seem that she did want Archie to be a prince and didn't understand the system or chose to manipulate it to make it sound like she was being abused by her race. Horrible, nasty and pathetic.

Kate has never appeared robotic! Have you not seen playing hockey? Have you not seen her talking to others? It's clear that her interest and smiles are genuine - they come from her eyes too.
She's intelligent and well educated with a good degree from a good university. She knew William and his family for years and had plenty of time to learn and understand the protocol and expectations.
