Ridiculous ‘recommendations’

I imagine I am not the only person to get odd ‘recommendations’ from online retailers. Today’s was a classic. I’ve just bought two packs of size E bin liners. So they recommended I also buy size L and size G bin liners. How many different sized bins am I supposed to have?

A few months ago, I bought a right hand wrist and thumb support. Days later, they recommended I bought a left hand one and a knee support brace. Clearly they expect my health to deteriorate pretty rapidly smile

Do other Gransnetters have any examples to share?

I bought a scooter for my GS's birthday. Now I am inundated with adverts from the same company for more scooters. One small boy and one scooter seems sufficient to me.

Recommended for me on Amazon today are various brands of chocolate and confectionery blush, three sorts of yeast (presumably to go with the breadmaker I bought recently), another brand of breadmaker, in case I want to have two, and a King James's Bible (no, I've no idea!).

There may be a recipe in it for that unleavened bread that the Israelites were told to make so that they could leave Egypt sharpish,before the Pharaoh changed his mind, MaggieMay, however for that you wouldn't need any of the three kinds of yeast, or even the breadmaker.
