Diana had an expectation as a nineteen yr old girl to be loved and cherished by her husband. She was humiliated on the world stage by the fact her husband didn't 'want her' apart from .. to make an heir and a spare with. The fact that he was on the royal train with camilla the eve of the wedding destroyed her self worth. However she fought back and showed the world that she was made of sterner stuff.

Annie If you are criticising and judging Diana for having relationships with married men, it takes two to tango, so surely those men are as guilty? But no, in your eyes, it is always Diana in the wrong.

Secondly, why are you not criticising Princess Anne who had an affair with her bodyguard, Camilla for having an affair with Charles?

Don't accuse me of "judging" you, Annie. I am most definitely not as I understand that you're not perfect, as none of us are. Surely compassion should be the name of the game.

With all the evil in the world, Diana would not be on my list.

My opinion, for what it’s worth, is that Diana was flawed. But I think we’re all flawed, no one is perfect, least of all me!
On the other hand, Hitler and many of his minions, was totally, absolutely personified evil. His deeds were unspeakable, but somehow he never got his hands dirty, and so there were thousands of others who were inspired by him to perform unspeakably evil acts.
I’m not aware that Diana inspired others to perform unspeakably evil acts. She was flawed, imperfect, like the rest of us.

I am judging Diana on her criticism of a person’s burial, yes he was another ex lover but she adored Hewitt straight after
