Good Morning everyone and thanks for starting us off Jax.
It’s a bright morning and promises to be a lovely day.

I have been sitting in my craft room watching a heron sat on the top of a neighbours fir tree. He had to draw his neck in a few times with other birds flying too close.

Today I will spend on my knees weeding the borders around the lawn. The top border I have to find some plants that like damp conditions as it develops it’s own small pond after a lot of rain.

Good morning, everyone, from a beautiful morning in Torbay with a clear, blue sky and just a few wisps of early cloud which will soon be burned off, as the meteorological people would say!

Our local news is taken up with the G7 Summit and the disruption it has caused, particularly to folk trying to reach their places of work, which has been particularly difficult for care home staff, with security delays of up to three hours. One elderly lady had to wait two hours for a doctor to reach her! Sadly, cases of Covid have emerged amongst staff at a hotel used by the Press and amongst the police being accommodated on board a ship. Although the victims (and their bubble) are self isolating, some hospitality business owners have enacted precautionary closures.

My contributions may be limited for the next couple of days due to unreliable WiFi at my holiday home. Have a restful time and enjoy the sunshine, my friends. ?☀️?

Thanks Jaxjacky. Morning everyone from a cloudy, balmy south Cornwall. In the five days I was away my patio plants have bloomed gorgeously. Thank you for all your kind comments about my op. Re knitted pigeons, they're just flat shapes at the moment but when I'm in the mood for stuffing I'll send a photo. Hobbling and pottering today = trying to be good and not move fast.
