Does anyone know if it's possible to buy high leg knickers which are also high waisted? I can't seem to find any which are both. If anyone knows of any please let me know the names of the brand(s). Thank you ladies smile

nadateturbe.Sorry, only just seen your request. The brand I bought was Innersy,on A----n, high waisted, which cost about £23 for 5 pairs. They certainly have no glamour but are oh so comfortable and are cut high at the leg so no digging in.

You definitely got VFM with those Maggiemaybe.
I too like no VPL.

A good while ago (Before Brexit and the extra import tax) used to order from Just Sloggi in the UK. Excellent company and service, sometimes good reductions.

2 year olds would be mere babies in my knicker drawer, nadateturbe. I reckon my Sloggis are about 12 year old. blush They’re only called into service when I’m looking to avoid the dreaded VPL though.

I get mine from m&s nice soft material with cotton crotch.

I have to say my maxi sloggis have never split. They are at least 2 years old. I just don't think the 'chic' ones are as well fitting although more expensive. That was really the point of my comment. Having said that I think I might try another brand for comparison.

M & S have cotton/modal ones that fit the bill at 5 for £12, 100% cotton at 7 for £7, that seem remarkably cheap for them but get good reviews. And some very pretty ones for a lot more. It’s probably time I replaced those Sloggis (yes, they’ve all split at the waistband, but I must admit they’re very old).

Not much help to you but I bought some at KMart 3 for $12. Unfortunately I don't particularly like the hi cut leg but other than that they are great.

I buy John Lewis own brand knickers. Cotton, high waisted and comfy. I prefer them just a smidgen to M&S.

thanks for all the suggestions

I would second the jockeys. I don't wear that style, but I have always bought jockey underwear and they are good quality.

I don't agree that Sloggis last forever. They used to , but the ones I've bought recently have all gone the same way with the elastic tearing away from the cloth at the waistline. I shan't buy them anymore because at £10 per pair I expect better quality. I've bought another variety online at less thank half the price, not glamorous but really comfortable and so far they show no sign of wearing out.

I used to wear high waist Sloggies, but totally agree about the elastic coming away from the waistband. Now buy a cheaper brand, Arista from the Original Factory Shop, but they seldom have my size, always plenty of the really large sizes. Much cheaper, don’t feel as substantial as some brands, but comfy and good ish value.

I’d second M & S. All my comfiest and longest-lived knickers are from there, and they’ve lots of choice. They’re easy to find online as you can set a filter for high leg and high rise.

I think I must be a funny shape as Sloggis just don't fit comfortably. I buy knickers from tesco. They are not wonderful quality but they are comfortable. I think I also have some from Waitrose which are a bit better quality.

Try Unibu, British made and very comfortable.

Perhaps you wouldn't mind telling me the brand chicken. I'm very disappointed wirh these. No wonder they were on offer.

Just a warning in case anyone thinks of buying Sloggi Chic maxi briefs. I just bought a pack as they have lacy bits and looked pretty. They are not in any way as comfortable as the normal maxi briefs and tighter round the thighs.
£30 down the drain.

travelsafar I love Sloggi knickers but am amazed at how expensive they are.

I agree, but they do last for ever through countless washing and wearing.
