I just read Tom O’ Connor has died. May he rest in peace.
I used to love his humour. I remember meeting him when he was on tour and he was so nice, signing autographs and being friendly to everyone.
I also loved the tv show The Comedians and also The Wheeltappers and Shunters Social Club.

He always came across as genuine and kind. I loved tge Tom O Connor Roadshow in tge 80s used to watch that at lunchtime from school! Then he was in Doctors.
A lovely smile. At least he had a good long life. RIP to another who made us laugh.

I remember Tom O Connor from Name That Tune. He was one of those comedians who could raise a smile without using bad language.

I remember him too.
And another Irish comedian, Dave Allen. What happened to him?

Just been watching a clip on YouTube of Dave Allen explaining how to tell the time. Classic comedy.
