What concerns me and others who like me are not inclined to name the place is that this is a public forum where we all use pseudonyms so we cannot so easily be placed, so telling you the name of a town with under 5000 inhabitants would rather tend to cancel my anonymity.

I live in a city alongside the city of Manchester. It is NOT a suburb of Manchester, nor is it part of Manchester, though we are in the county of Greater Manchester, having been dragged kicking and screaming out of Lancashire some years ago. My home city is actually older than Manchester.

My daughter and family live in Richmond. We were there at the start of our first lockdown but goodness knows when we’ll see them again. ?
I’m in West Yorkshire.

My daughter’s mil has lived in Richmond for many years. When we open up again we will go to see her. We are further out than that. My mum came from Leeds and I still have cousins round York. At least they are getting the vaccines here now so it won’t be too long before you can come over.
