yes usually there are two marks on the cap you need to squeeze the cap while turning

I use pliers, I have large ones that open wide.

I use my door jamb ( isn’t that what they are made for ) ?

Immerse top in hot water for a few minutes, then dry top, and try again. Pinch, and use teatowel.

I use nit crackers, just push and turn, seems to work for me.

Ach - we always put it in the door jamb when we were children.
Put the bottle in-between the door and door frame and close it on the cap, then keep rotating bottle until it opens.

do. not. use. scissors. or knife. please. A&E is queuing out the door.
put on rubber gloves.
you need to squeeze and twist at the same time.
it can be difficult if you don't have a strong hand grip.
in which case, wait until someone else comes by and ask them.
it is not worth doing risky things with blades.
look after yourself. good luck.

and turn the bottle, that should be.

You need to squeeze the two smooth bits, that are on the ridgey thing, between your thumb and forefinger, and turn.

Worn rubber gloves?

Have you cut the little plastic bits off?

Does anybody know an easy way to open the cap on this mouthwash bottle? I have just spent over 10 minutes trying to open it, even using scissors which slipped and nearly gashed my hand. I give up now ?
