Prince Andrew Can't Sweat

Doing wrong is not black and white even in law.

My own father who of course had never heard of Prince Andrew, could not sweat. My mother , who had never heard of Prince Andrew, told me this when I was was girl . My mother did not explain about the adrenaline thing as she had no medical knowledge, but after Andrew's admission about not sweating . I can understand how hormones are affected by some severe life events. My father was at the Eastern Front during the Great War.

Also in support of Prince Andrew, he probably did not even know that it was illegal or even immoral to shag an unknown and poor seventeen year old girl. Very rich people have odd childhoods, and it takes special efforts by parents and teachers to teach them what real life is.

It’s clear that VG was sexually active from at least age 13 and there’s no evidence that she was groomed to get into the relationships she had with the men she lived with. She was, as she was living with someone at the time, very sexually aware when she met Maxwell. This may go some way towards explaining why the prosecution decided she would not be a reliable witness.

There are probably many young girls who were in abusive relationships in their early teens, but did not recognise that at the time. A friend of mine, her daughter was groomed by an older man in her early teens and thought it was fine at the time, lapping up the attention etc. It was only some years later that she realised that it had actually been abusive and that she had been the victim of grooming and a substantial degree of coercive control from an older narcissist. These abusers are very good at singling out victims who are vulnerable for any number of reasons.

You miss the point JaneJudge. The evil is not swinging or enjoying the company of free and well -paid sex workers. The evil is that rich and powerful men do what they want regardless of the law.

Germanshepherdsmum Mon 03-Jan-22 11:44:40

As did VG IMO.

JaneJudge Mon 03-Jan-22 11:42:53

I live by a swingers club but as far as I know people go there through choice

Caleo Mon 03-Jan-22 11:42:38

There is a global social class of very powerful men . For instance, think how that Chinese tennis player has been silenced.

Caleo Mon 03-Jan-22 11:40:31

I bet there are other private 'clubs' all over the world where rich and powerful men gather to enjoy sumptuous food, golf, blood sports, beautiful surroundings, servants, prostituted girls, choosing which facility they want.

MissAdventure Mon 03-Jan-22 11:35:09

They are, as far as I know.
It's a huge, global group, so it will take time, particularly if everyone is as unwilling to talk.

Caleo Mon 03-Jan-22 11:20:04

Prince Andrew allegedly has a walk-on part among the allegedly large caste of rich and powerful men who formed the sex-seeking clientele . Why don't the police seek out the other users of these young girls?

eazybee Mon 03-Jan-22 11:13:11

Prince Andrew is a fool in putting forward pathetic excuses about not sweating and Pizza Hut. All he needs to do is reiterate: 'I did not have sex with that woman'.
It worked for Bill Clinton.

I suspect that in the US suing a member of the British RF is much more sensational than suing a rich American businessman or politician. She wasn’t called as a witness against Maxwell because the prosecution had doubts about her reliability - which says a lot.

Anniebach Mon 03-Jan-22 10:46:15

Parsely3 your post speaks for many who don’t care about justice , just get a hit at a member of the royal family.

Anniebach Mon 03-Jan-22 10:42:30

She wasn’t called as a witness against Maxwell yet she claims it
was Maxwell who introduced her to Epstein.

Parsley3 Mon 03-Jan-22 10:42:27

Good luck in getting money out of the Royal purse. Andrew mixed in some very unsavoury circles. We’re all the well bred females giving him a wide berth?

Germanshepherdsmum Mon 03-Jan-22 10:36:30

I agree Annie, she’s manipulating these women for her own purposes. I also share your view of Andrew.
She’s only interested at having a go at people with deep pockets Atqui and after all this time I doubt the police would be interested in her ex. Puts a rather different slant on her to what some on here would like to believe.
Her agreement with Epstein is to be made public later today and I will be very interested in that.

Anniebach Mon 03-Jan-22 10:28:54

She lived with a man for 6 months when she was 13, no mention of him being charged.

Atqui Mon 03-Jan-22 10:21:43

If she was 17 when with the boyfriend in America , will he then be charged with rape too ?

Anniebach Mon 03-Jan-22 09:42:20

GSM. Yes. Andrew is arrogant, I didn’t believe him in that interview. But arrogance is not a criminal offence. For me Giuffrie is using the girls who were victims of Epstein.

Now an ex boyfriend of Giuffrie has given an interview, she was living with him when she was with Epstein and would leave for weeks , then tell him how she was being abused .

Germanshepherdsmum Mon 03-Jan-22 09:25:11

Who has already received ‘compensation’ from Epstein’s estate but wants more money and ‘fame’.

Anniebach Mon 03-Jan-22 08:53:20

Yes, but he is not being sued on a charge of guilt by association but of rape and sex with an underage girl.

Parsley3 Sun 02-Jan-22 23:06:25

Whether VG enjoyed her encounter and kept the photo as a happy souvenir is not the issue imo. A Royal Prince must have been brought up to understand that he should choose his friends with care and not indulge in behaviour that would leave himself open to situations where he could be blackmailed or in this case sued. Not one of us knows the truth but we do know that Andrew was one of the Maxwell/Epstein set. Unfortunately for him mud sticks and he has put himself into the situation of having to deny serious accusations that are not going to be hushed up in the way that Royal scandals once were.

That's good new Grandmagrim looks like we'll need quite a few this year.

Grandmagrim Sun 02-Jan-22 17:36:09

The pitchfork makers are doing a roaring trade these days.

sodapop Sun 02-Jan-22 17:31:46

Unfortunately Andrew's actions or lack of them since this was made public don't give me much confidence in his innocence.
He comes across as being arrogant and entitled and has learned nothing from this fiasco.

Anniebach Sun 02-Jan-22 17:23:22

Thank you Atqui
