Up earlier than usual, to a beautifully starry sky. I have promised to do some paperwork for a friend who really could do it herself. She is feeling very down and I hope that by taking this tiresome task off her shoulders it will make her feel lighter. It will take me a few days and I am mentally lining up various rewards for myself for the weekend.
I shall have my tea and get started. She has promised to answer the phone if I have any queries.
Poor iris, but hopefully in the long term she will put this behind her.
I’d love to go for a swim but our local pool shut due to staffing problems.
Looking forward to Matt urms. I do appreciate him.
Have the best day you can.

Good Morning from NE Hants. I cancelled my swimming session for this morning and having read Beechnut's message wished I hadn't. Thought I would not feel like it to-day and of course I do. It has only taken nearly 70 years for me to realise I get so tired and de-motivated most evenings, I can't envisage that when I wake up I have energy and can usually tackle most things. Which is what happened last night when I cancelled to-day's swimming. When I was working I used to do the laundry and tidy the house, perhaps put a meal in the slo-cooker, before I went to the office. Then when I came home I was usually bushed and would just want to sit watching TV. OH is the opposite and morning's are his low point grin Anyway have a great day at some point, all of you.

Good morning from E Kent. I’ve just been out with the bins and it is dry and misty. Not cold though.
Busy day today - t’ai chi, then lunch out with same, and WI meeting this evening. May be interesting as it will talk about the German occupation during WW2. We lived there for a while and 2 of my DC were born there.
Spoke to DD re. Iris last night. Her plaster was changed and an X-ray taken. The bone is not healing properly which would explain her constant , sometimes acute, pain and she has been booked in for a very long operation early next month - pins, plates and grafts are involved, poor little mite. She is quite pragmatic about it all, bless her.
Hope everyone had a quiet day, thinking of several regulars in particular. Carpe diem. ????❤️☀️?

Good Morning Mick and all who follow. Dark and wet here on Severnside.

I’m starting back to swimming today after having a break over Christmas. On my return home I’ll sort the recycling and then get stuck into some homeworking. I’m making fish pie for lunch and am looking forward to that.

I hope you will be able to use the helpful Tell us Once service GrannySomerset. I had six DC and found on using all but one was returned to me.

Have a good day all ?

Buen dia from ?? where I’m lolling abed with the chamberpot ☕️ which Mr PG has delivered with his winsome smile ? as he earns a ⭐️ for putting the washing machine on at cheap rate leccy!

Last full day as the handover with urms has taken place - she’s a dab hand at the ??☀️?‍♀️ we share - send some of that wind up senora so that I can get my bedding dry!

Back to my lovely little seaside shack in north Wales ??????? tomorrow- I’ve packed some ☀️ for AGA in case Laura hasn’t any left in the weatherbarn on the Island and seeing EV posting has reminded me I need crumpets on my shopping list!

So much busy sadness for GS ? and hope others in the sick bay have a better day x
