WORDLE CHAT PART 2

3 today- lucky with first word choice

It is Hogwartle, I just had a look.

I completely failed today but did it in three today, helped by a lucky guess to start with.

A teenage neighbour informs me that there is now a Harry Potter version called Hogwardle or some such name. I don't think I'll try it as I've not read any of the books or seen the films.

Tuesday 8th February Fairly simple word today but …. still had to go to the fourth line.

I got it on the last go today. Phew! Beat my SIL who's an Oxford graduate so pleased about that. It's become a bit competitive in our family. Haven't tried any of the other variations, but just might, but not the number one.

Now 4894

WordWipe is another good word game. Emphasis is on speed and resourceful use of the letters in the grid, rather than analysis of the letters as in Wordle, but a wide vocabulary is useful. I am speeding up since I started and have reached level 5 and a score of 4556.

It accepts foreign words and accidental ones I have never heard of (probably foreign), but it is a bit Puritan on rude(ish) ones, like "shit" - and I didn't even try any worse 4-letter words, though I could see they would be possible.

6 today, could do better!

Three today. Last 4 right on the second line so not much choice for 3rd line.
