It was reported on The Jeremy Vine show this morning that Prince Harry has suffered from ‘burn out’ and he finds meditation was/is helpful with this. He has recommended everyone to meditate every day.
Do you meditate? Every day? Is it helpful?

and Meghan's Mother seems perfectly nice anyway not a lesser version of the Middletons hmm

Yes she does.

However, she may be lovely but the rest of the family is rather dysfunctional. It's not what I'd term grounded and sensible.

That's true but Meghan is estranged from them. I really do hope that I am not judged by the actions of the parent and siblings I am estranged from as I am nothing like them.

I do think it’s a pity that he no longer has an active interest in Sentabale, the AIDS charity that he cofounded. I think that was something he was proud of and committed to and the need is still very much there. ?

He was still fundraising for Sentebale in 2021. A polo match he appeared in raised $3.5 million. www.harpersbazaar.com/celebrity/latest/a37357936/prince-harry-charity-polo-match-donation-goals/

I think William is lucky in having sensible, grounded in-laws.

Yes I think that's been a huge help to him and given him an example of a stable family life.
Harry, on the other hand, seems to be floundering.

I agree.
I know they're not his in laws, but some while back Harry was praising the Middletons for welcoming him into their family too. I believe he went on holiday with the whole family and used to enjoy eating meals in Carole Middleton's kitchen. He seemed to have a good relationship with Kate's sister, Pippa.

Lucca there are many photographs taken by a photographer
of Diana with the children, not official , and released to the press, lovely photographs of the three of them.

I know which photos look more natural to me.

GSM. “ It screams 'Look at me, aren't I a wonderful mother?' to me. Contrast that with the occasional family photos, often taken by Kate or her father, which she and William release. They show them as a natural happy family and keep the public appetite satisfied in a safe and appropriate manner.”

Why does it scream that ?. Maybe Diana wasn’t a good photographer. Maybe she found it hard to get relaxed family snaps with her marriage the way it was.

So unpleasant, so judgmental. Perfect Kate, all wrong Diana.

I have never thought any member of the royal family or anyone else perfect .

maybe he doesn't care for being appropriate anymore?
I think i would've had enough of it as well if I'd lost my own Mother at such a young age with such expectations of me
I doubt his brother and wife are perfect either, thet are just well polished in public

Anniebach Sat 05-Feb-22 18:57:11

He lived a very structured life , boarding school, army, royal
duties until 2018

Perhaps if they gave away most of their wealth to those in need they might find happiness.
That would be am*ace*ing, but I don't think Harry has the (see image) to do that.

Callistemon21 Sat 05-Feb-22 18:15:14

?

All that wealth and they're both miserable and in need of therapy.

Perhaps if they gave away most of their wealth to those in need they might find happiness.

I think it's using the children on what should be a private fun day out, not an event with hordes of press photographers in attendance. It screams 'Look at me, aren't I a wonderful mother?' to me. Contrast that with the occasional family photos, often taken by Kate or her father, which she and William release. They show them as a natural happy family and keep the public appetite satisfied in a safe and appropriate manner.

I give up.

Not tennis coach, I hope!
?

Well perhaps he cheers her up during practice sessions?

Harry was speaking about meditation for the company he works for............. to get back to the title thread!
Speaking on a live stream hosted by BetterUp, the mental health company he works for, BetterUp, which charges about $250 (£184) a month for one-to-one coaching sessions, employs the royal as its chief impact officer. Tennis star Serena Williams joined him for the discussion, revealing that they talk for "hours" and he has become her "coach".

Lucca Sat 05-Feb-22 17:30:17

No sorry I still see nothing wrong with it.

Anniebach Sat 05-Feb-22 17:22:26

Lucca is there a good reason to have the press on standby when her children were having fun ? Surely some privacy was
needed , no charity event, no royal visit , just two children
enjoying themselves and the world must be shown .

Lucca Sat 05-Feb-22 17:12:04

Lucca what are the good reasons to have children photographed by the press having fun ? There is a reason but a good one ?

I don’t understand what you mean.

Still don’t know what you mean. what could you construe as negative in showing her children enjoying themselves ?

JillyJosie2 Sat 05-Feb-22 16:56:29

I agree Sparklefizz and others. All very well complaining that Harry can't leave the memory of his mother alone, plenty on here can't leave Diana alone.

I always thought the photos of her with her boys were filled with love and happiness and yes, she did allow photos for the first few days so that the press would leave them alone for the rest of their holiday.

Haven't the Royals always had a tacit agreement with the press that amounts to bargaining for some privacy?
