Yes you can 'rent' clothes 'bundles' from Marks and Spenser. What do you think? have you done it? hope link works, if not just google M& S clothes hire as I did... heard it mentioned on tv. top range.

I have used a local hat hire service when I couldn't find a hat for a particularly posh wedding I attended some years ago.
I didn't know M&S did clothes hire, thank you for that.

That looks interesting. Thank you lemsip. It could be useful to people on holiday, or on a cruise maybe.
I've not heard anyone try it.

It looks as though the cost of rental is about one fifth of the cost of buying. I appreciate that hiring a designer dress for a special occasion would cost more than hiring from M&S but it would be much better quality and you’d be far less likely to see someone else wearing the same. I wouldn’t pay to hire a dress from M&S that may have been previously hired out and show it.

Thanks lemsip ideal for me, I’m loathe to spend on a dress that I’m highly unlikely to wear again. I did this a few years ago, dress and hat for Henley.

Thanks lemsip if I still went to Black Tie special occasions I might be tempted. Some lovely outfits costing hundreds of pounds, for hire for about £50-still not cheap! But nice to look at them.

This will be great for me, I have spent a fortune on event clothing that I wear once.

I don’t think I would hire M&S but would use the more expensive brands.

This service was on Dragons Den recently, I did not realise there was already a service.

Yes, it was Dragons Den that I heard M & S hired out also

That is a great ideas , I heard about it on dragons den but thought it was only baby/ children's clothes..
Especially when you are going to a one off function of a wedding or a cruise.

Prefer the charity shop get to keep it for less price

This has been going for years - not necessarily M &S - I used to regularly hire evening dresses for business functions just so that I could inject variety.

nothing like years ago, a different concept all together.
M & S site states...
RENT 3 ITEMS FOR 30 DAYS FOR £50 FROM OUR BUNDLES SECTION ...

not for me. but others may find it useful

Is it that M&S have so much trouble selling their clothes, they’re now trying to rent them out instead?
