I'm determined to get rid of some of the old unused bricabrac stuff that is filling boxes, drawers etc. (jewellery, binoculars, pewter mugs etc). It'll all just be chucked I'm sure if left too late and my kids have to sort it out. Has anyone used Vintage Cash Cow?

Had never heard of Vintage Cash Cow till reading the Sun newspaper this morning, there was a letter from someone saying they had sent them two big parcels of various stuff a bracelet, gramophone, carriage clock, pocket watch etc They were told the gramophone was worth £29 The seller asks for the rest of the stuff back but Vintage Cash Cow wouldn't send the rest back they said they don't do part-returns when the item is under £50.
Mel Hunter from the Paper who fights for your rights on behalf of readers said they couldn't get the stuff back but did get £200 compensation, so guess I would be careful.

I’d be really careful with this. I’ve read about items being seriously undervalued, so it depends on whether you know what the stuff is worth before you sell it.

I'd rather take things to charity shops than fund a commercial venture.
