Despite all the shortages in the world we somehow never run out of a supply of horrible little men with delusions of importance and a total disregard for the suffering of humanity.

True!

I’ve followed al the reports since last Thursday and am in awe of Ukraine.

Why hasn’t someone taken Putin out? Surely someone can assassinate him, the man is another Hitler, he is deranged !

Somehow I feel that Lyce Doucet and Orla Guerin will be OK but I'm a bit worried about Clive Myrie. These two fearless female reporters have been through so many conflicts and dangerous situations. We're lucky to have them.

I just saw Clive Myrie reporting from Kyiv and he is not wearing a helmet or flak jacket.

I feel quite worried about Clive Myrie and other reporters in Ukraine now. They are so brave. How will they get out if they need to, with all flights stopped and all roads leading westwards heaving with people naturally trying to escape?

I’ve been thinking the same. So so brave and a worry for there families at home watching the news reports.

The reporters have a lot of courage!

I've shed a few tears myself.

I’m struggling but this, I feel like we are reliving the 1930s, only the names have changed. I’m so afraid for the world right now.

It must be very difficult sometimes for news presenters, it’s a wonder it doesn’t happen more often. Charlene has had a difficult week, her co presenter on loose women Brenda Edwards lost her son Jamal this week , very sudden and unexpected apparently. My heart goes out to them.

Clive Myrie had a tear in his eye on the BBC News on Friday, I think the newsreaders are as shocked as the rest of us.

After watching the ITN news this morning there was a very emotional report from a lady reporter in Ukraine who was having to try hard not to cry, as it panned back onto news reader Charlene White, she was wiping a tear from her cheek I have never seen a news reader having to work so hard to stop their emotions , she did well but it shows how much this is effecting everyone. far and wide
The news is heartbreaking for Ukraine but for the Russians as well and all we can do is offer our hearts maybe money or goods but how ever much we talk about it we cannot stop the heartbreak, the death, the destruction it is all down to ONE MAN
