Simply hang up to air what I'm wearing for dinner\next day. Rest stays in case.

No, I just live out of the suitcase if it's just for one night.

If it's just the one night I'm going to need everything I've packed, so it all comes out. I probably won't put anything in drawers (it'll only be one pair of knickers and one pair of socks anyway) but may put something on a hanger. I put it back in the bag as I use it, finishing with my toothbrush when I pop back to the room after breakfast.

I would only have things I needed in an overnight bag, so yes,I would unpack it, hang up anything that needs hanging, put pjs on the bed, toiletries in the bathroom, other essentials on bedside table. No need for drawers or wardrobe for one night.

If it’s an overnight stop on the way to perhaps a more distant holiday destination, I keep what I need, (night things, pants etc for the next day and sponge bag ) at the top or even in a separate case but would not unpack anything I was not going to need the next day.

If we have to change to go to a function ( those were the days) then yes, if it’s just overnight and a meal with family then no, just take out clean clothes and wear, pop the laundry into a separate bag to bring home, we usually leave wellies, coats in the boot of the car, to save lugging too much into the hotel.

No, I just leave everything in the overnight bag. Then by the next day when it’s time to go home I have already done so much rummaging in the bag I have to completely empty it and repack it. It’s at the point I ask myself why I just didn’t empty it on arrival.

No I don't unpack for just one night.

Depends on if we're just sleeping or have an evening out planned. Might hang a clean outfit up if necessary. I like an empty case to put discarded clothes into.

Always.

If you are just staying overnight in a hotel/B&B, do you unpack all of your clothes/shoes into the drawers/cupboards, or do you simply live out of your case?
Arrive at hotel 2 pm, depart 10.00 am the next morning.

I joined a couple for an overnight stay in a hotel, (separate rooms obviously!), they unpacked every single item into drawers and wardrobes. I found this a bit ridiculous.
What do you do in the same situation? x
