So many people received compensation for having been ‘mis sold’ insurance. Wouldn’t they have been pleased they had that insurance if they had needed it? If you willingly paid for something why try to get the cost back later? I have no sympathy for people who are literate but ‘didn’t read the small print’. Was it written in invisible ink?

If you agreed to pay for an upgraded account why would you ask for your money back ?

If you are referring to the mis selling of packaged bank accounts I think you will find that the Martin Lewis website will have an section related to it.

No idea what this is about, suggest you ask the firms making the offer.
