After suffering back pain, caused by a too soft mattress, we recently purchased a medium to firm matress, which has done wonders for my back. I now have zero back pain.
However, I'm a side sleeper and I now wake up with shoulder and arm pain, which I'm convinced is partly caused by the mattress being a bit too firm.
So after much googling, the advice appears to be to buy a soft mattress topper to go on top of the too-firm new mattress.
Can anybody recommend one?
They are nearly £200 so I don't want to accidentally buy one that's too firm.
I see some advertised as soft but does that mean soft materials or what? I want one that I sink into a bit, if that makes sense.
Thanks.
