The other thing about koalas is that they aren't bears wink
They're marsupials

Koala bears are the only animals with FINGER PRINTS very similar to humans'. Learnt that this week on a tv quiz.

Taking those last 3 posts together, I suppose the water I’ve just used to make a cup of tea is very likely recycled dinosaur wee.
I dare say I shall enjoy it all the more.?

Astronauts urine is recycled into drinking water!

Everyone’s urine is recycled into drinking water, surely?

There is not one more drop of water today than was here when the earth was formed

Georgesgran Wed 16-Mar-22 16:06:08

That the same rain falling today fell on the dinosaurs!

You ( as a woman) carried the egg that would go on to be one of your grandchildren.
Not sure if I’ve explained that correctly.

Well, of course and it's obvious really!!
Why did I never realise that before?

Jane Austen was 5’7”, at a time when the average woman’s height was 5’2”

If you are from Chester (born there) you can kill anyone from Wales with a bow and arrow. Apparently a very old law which allegedly has never changed.

I once read that all the gold that has been mined in the world could fit into two double decker buses. It can't be true, can it?

Yes lemsip it does make sense. One of those ‘How on earth do I know that?’ moments.

lemsip Tue 15-Mar-22 18:48:41

yes I often hear of a strange fact......though I couldn't think of one at the moment, I find that when watching quiz shows a question pops up and I have the answer from way back when I picked that odd fact up! hope that makes sense.

This morning on Radio 4, I learnt that King Solomon devised a depilatory paste for the Queen of Sheba’s hairy legs. I can’t get it out of my mind.
