Is anyone else having trouble getting Wordle via Google?

Apparently it’s a thing

I wouldn’t be that bothered, but:

A) I’m going to loose all of my lovely stats (including my one-er: NASTY)

and B) I actually subscribed to the NYT games! ?

I know! It completely freaked me out.
I’m not the only one. There has been about four of us.
MaggieMaybe (I think) got PROXY in one (shock); and I remember that someone else got LIGHT in one

Intrigued by Elegran's thread Common words which aren't accepted on Wordle, a couple of days back, yesterday I tried the word CHINK purely out of curiosity to see whether something had changed and if it would work for me.
Well, it did, and one line got me to CHUNK in 2 goes.
