I think that perhaps I'm out of touch or old fashioned ,but I find Naked Atractuon revolting and disgusting .

I've tried desensitising myself by watching it again, but I find it deeply offensive .

And then ,I found something which is even more distasteful Vagina Knitting .

It came out in 2013 and features an Australian artist ,who inserts a ball of wool into her vagina regardless of her time of the month and knits .

Am I alone in my reaction ?

That's a great story TwinLolly. How brave you are!

I bet it’s painful getting the needles into her Vagina???

Funnily enough my first date wasn't exactly 'Naked Attraction' which I've not watched. I can only guess.

My then naturist pen pal met me at the airport in France (bearing in mind we had never met!) on a hot day. To cut a long story short... by the we got to his house and I was really hot so I asked if I could go for a swim to cool off. Yes.

I stripped off. I took the bull by the horns: "Well, he's a naturist, I'm a naturist, so why bother with a swimsuit." Went down to the pool and dived in.

Well... he looked a bit surprised as I rushed past, in the altogether but joined me.

And that was our first naked introduction. It broke the ice for a wonderful friendship which turned to love and marriage.

Reminds me of my Gran, who was in her 90s back in the 1980s, telling my dad that there had been a ‘dirty’ film on the tele one Saturday night, but it had subtitles so she’d had to pull the chair closer to the tele. ??

Id seen bits of it on Gogglebox so decided to watch the whole programme. I think the first thing they should see is the face. You dont pick a partner by the look of his bits. When they do meet up and go for a drink they never like them. So better to see their face first, then discount them.

Dianehillbilly1957 Wed 23-Mar-22 19:18:34

I REALLY don't see the point of it whatsoever! I'm definitely not a prude but I think people in clothing look far better and clothing coming off is a personal and private moment between the parties involved, not for millions to gawp at ones private bits, and I don't need to hear about what they do with theses bits, I have the choice to hit the off button and I do!! TV now seems to need to shock!!!

I don’t mind the images so much, but it’s the disgusting things said by the presenter that I find most unacceptable.

gillyknits Wed 23-Mar-22 17:19:47

Saw a bit of this on Gogglebox but would definitely not choose to view the whole programme. Bemused by the whole premise and definitely heard the scraping of barrels on whatever channel it’s on!

No idea if Mummer is male or female. Very dictatorial though.
NA is not a programme I would go out of my way to watch, I get bored easily, but it is really up to adults what they watch, and they dont need preaching too.

Esspee Wed 23-Mar-22 16:59:17

I had never heard of this programme until now but as I read the thread I now know enough about the programme to thank you all. I shall avoid it like the plague.

Love the socks and sandals ?

Chewbacca Wed 23-Mar-22 15:33:34

NudiNits are really funny snowberry and you can buy the knitting patterns to make your own Bernard and Barbara. They have a lot of fiddly little bits though!

snowberryZ Wed 23-Mar-22 15:15:28

The nudenits calendar looks like fun.
Completely different to NA, which is just rank.

Elegran Wed 23-Mar-22 15:14:47

Is Mummer male or female? Does anyone know?

Mamma7 Wed 23-Mar-22 15:12:47

Love Gogglebox but through that have come across Naked Attraction and other programmes - I thought I was broad minded and couldn’t be shocked, but Yuk!

Alioop Wed 23-Mar-22 15:05:12

Mummer I was 13, yes a long bloomin time ago, but never a nun. Oh so serious aren't we or just plain rude! I don't watch it so I don't sit and snigger at it like a child. I smiled at another poster's remark for your information.

MissAdventure

No idea, but she seems to be a bit angry.
Perpetually.

well, if I was vulgar, I would say she needs a good seeing to (as used to be said) to calm her down. But I am not, so I won't say it.

MissAdventure Wed 23-Mar-22 14:56:57

Somebody will be blowing a gasket if they see that. grin
Brilliant.

Chewbacca Wed 23-Mar-22 14:54:26

I used to have the NudiNits calendar on my office wall. It was constantly getting nicked, especially when the November photo came around and Barbara had to hold Bernard's rocket.

BlueBelle Wed 23-Mar-22 14:50:23

Whose this mummer laying down the law and being rude to posters?

songstress60 Wed 23-Mar-22 14:45:12

It's disgusting but I think some people will do anything to be famous, and that's why they go on there. Have only seen it once NEVER again.

poshpaws Wed 23-Mar-22 14:45:09

MissAdventure

No, I don't know anything about anything, mummer thank the lord for people like you who do. smile

grin MissAdventure good reply. I think poor, sensitive, keeper of our morals mummer is about to burst a blood vessel - very kind of you to try to keep her calm. wink

MissAdventure Wed 23-Mar-22 14:43:44

It's just clear that whatever answer someone gives, it's going to be wrong a cording to someone else.
We mustn't laugh, aren't allowed to take it as "tongue in cheek" (oooh err, missus and apologies to mummer)
And god forbid we should titter!

Ages ago I tried to watch the programme, I’ve been married twice and broad minded, however it mad me nauseous I have never seen such weird genitalia. Surely they are chosen for it. Don’t watch anything like Love Island or similar, it bores me, just people obsessed with looks and trivia. Too much emphasis is put on looks and I feel sorry for young people now and what they seem to perceive as normal.
