The ‘hipster’ beard is over…

They are horrible. I would never have contemplated a relationship with a bloke with a beard. Fortunately neither of my sons ever had them, though one had ‘designer stubble’ for a while. In other words, he couldn’t be bothered to shave.

I doubt whether my 4 bearded Grandsons will take any notice of theTimes anytime soon.

I wish ‘bushy’ beards would go out of fashion, if they were ever in.

My DS has one, makes him look older and fatter in the face. If only he would have it trimmed a bit more often.

Still, it is, of course, his face and his beard.

He has long since not heeded advice from Mum, but doesn’t mind dishing it out himself!
