Good morning Mick and everyone from a rainy Hull.
Up late this morning as we are both isolating so DH can have a procedure done on Friday. We’ve no plans at all I expect it will be wall to wall telly.
Urmstongran we did laugh at Matt this morning loved the police doing the conga.
grandMattie?
I had some unusual coloured dicentra seeds(bleeding hearts) delivered yesterday so will be looking up how to plant them. Our hot border on the south side that resembled crazy paving is really appreciating this rain.
Take care everyone and hope Wednesday brings a moment of joy??

I have been tempted to try a bus journey to Bicester , but still feel its to early to make the move.
Take Care,

Good morning from Cheshire.
Getting darker by the minute !
So sorry to read that your daughter is experiencing worrying symptoms Gingster it is a very difficult journey.
DS taking me out for brunch today . We can talk for Britain !
Good morning all from grey and cold South Lanarkshire. No snow thank goodness but it just feels miserable.
Take it easy Mick, I’m sure your confidence will return but by bit.
Pleased to hear that you managed to sleep gM.
I must try to get my cooking mojo back, I just don’t have any enthusiasm for it these days and I have to make a dish to take to DS tomorrow. I’m out of ideas.
Anyhoo, wishing everyone a peaceful day it’s a flamingo or two thrown in. ??
Good morning from a grey S Hants, the real cold is due here overnight, I’d like snow, we might get a flake or two when we’re asleep.
Nothing wrong with some sleep aid when you’ve so much going on gMattie, thoughts with you.
Have your new wheels arrived Merlot?
A quiet day today, MrJ completed my raised bed yesterday, too early to plant out, but it’s poised, might go for a seaside walk, we like Stokes Bay.
Wishing strength to those suffering and their close ones, a happy day for all with the odd ??.
A very grey chilly start this morning in Oxfordshire. Very busy at work at the moment, but may need to take DD1 for a check up as she has some worrying symptoms this morning. She will call the triage team who will advise. It was never going to be easy, we knew that.
I haven't read the posts yet, so will catch up shortly. Thinking of those who are struggling with what life throws at them.
Good morning from a very grey, dull and miserable looking day in Essex by the sea.
I'm going with DH this morning to see what he has been doing to his new boat and to check that he is keeping it clean and tidy !!! The first time out in nearly 10 days.
Have a good day and kind thoughts to anyone who is ill, sad or lonely xxx
Followed by sunshine of course, should learn to preview
Good morning Mick and all from a rather grey Anglesey. Hoping for a little rain for new plants for by sunshine. No snow thanks, not welcome here.
Hope the day brings sunshine and flamingos for all even if only in small doses.
??

So relieved, that Allsorts posted on the wrong thread.
Easily done, when you are tired and feeling rotten.
Good morning all.
It was good to hear you managed a sleep GM, I hope you feel the benefit, you must be exhausted. ?
DH and I had a lovely day in Ayr, parked on the seafront, next to DH's office from forty five years ago. He was a touch nostalgic, recalling his happy days there and complaining that someone yesterday, had the audacity to park in his official parking space in the County Buildings courtyard. ?. A stroll around the town and a delicious meal in a very quiet, Italian restaurant, completed our enjoyable day.
On the way home, we noticed that both DH and DIL's cars were in the driveway, so we popped in with treats for a very delighted Dollie.
She was on a high, because unknown to her, her beloved daddy was coming to her school yesterday, to talk to various classes, about his job. My own school used to ask male parents to talk to classes, as many pupils in our area of high deprivation, sadly lacked male role models at home.
It seems that she was stunned (and silent for once), when DS walked into her class!
After we had set off, my phone rang, with an NHS number, the caller asking if I could confirm my name and CHI number, before we started my telephone appointment.
I explained that I knew nothing about any telephone appointment.
Months ago, I received a letter saying, the rheumatology physio would call me to offer help with the excruciating pain in my hip. That was the last I heard of it, no appointment was forthcoming, so I gave up hoping!
The physio decided that it was perhaps wiser to reschedule, as we were driving on twisting country roads and I had just gasped as an idiot overtook us on a very dangerous, blind bend! ?
The only thing that marred my day, was the implication by a poster on this thread yesterday, that I should ensure that the restaurant was fairly empty, as I had been exposed to Covid and I may infect someone. Unfortunately, I read the post, just as I sat down for lunch.
I will re-iterate, I have NOT been exposed to Covid, as far as I am aware, and as someone, who is CEV, I am testing every day now, as I am out about and about more. I bet you that there are not many on here, who can claim that. I have access to LFTs, due to my vulnerability.
This means that, if I ever test positive, I will be fast tracked to hospital to receive an infusion of anti viral drugs within hours.
I am making this point here, because from the very beginning, this has always been a friendly and supportive thread, but recently there has been an unpleasant tone creeping in on a few occasions, where a tiny number of posters have made an unnecessary dig about other posters. It has happened again this morning. Please don't spoil this lovely thread.
We do not know, what is going on in people's lives. It makes me quite reluctant to post these days and I know of others, who feel the same. Such a pity, as this thread has been a great comfort to many.
I am know that I will be now accused of spoiling this thread, but this has been bothering me for ages.
Please, let's get back to the way we were, being kind and gentle. Some of us are not as robust, as we appear.
For all those, struggling with pain and difficult times, I hope you find a restful and peaceful moment in your day. ?
Good morning from a dull and grey Black Country.
Must start going back to the gym this morning after a break due to our holiday.
We booked a few days in April to go to the caravan where it is stored near Burnham, to check it out after the winter. DS and family will be there the same week.
Plumber is due this morning after a few weeks wait to sort a leak and fit and new tap in bath!
Thinking of all who are facing challenges at the moment. grandMattie a special hug for you.
Good morning from a dull and damp Oxfordshire.
Dog sitting today, so will have to wrap up for our walk today.
Shopping delivery later, and housework.
Have as good a day as you can everyone.
Good morning from Shropshire. It’s looking dull outside with rain and possibly sleet forecast for later in the day.
After a busy few days a quiet day catching up with laundry and admin.Hopefully the car will be ready to collect later today.
Wishing everyone the best day possible??
Good morning everyone from a snowy Yorkshire yes we have snow! Last Saturday my husband got a touch of sunstroke and 4 days later we have snow ( light )
Today I was going to have my GD and we were going to make Jelly Baby squares but chose to be wise considering its snowing ( light )
Yesterday went on the hunt for kitchen tiles - grrrrrrr must have seen 1,0000000000 and came home with 0.
Enjoy your day everyone.
❄ ❄
Meant to add, thinking of everyone with struggles and illness today. Stay safe xxx
Good morning everyone. It’s a grey day here so far. I’m planning to empty what’s left in my late mum’s kitchen later on today. The last job on her flat before the sale goes through.
Good morning from a cold, damp Colchester. It's back into the big coat and boots for the walk into town for the weekly coffee meetup. Last week we sat on the terrace in the sun, this week back inside.
Love to all ? x
Good morning all and it’s dreary here in Essex.
Not much on today. School run, walk the dog .
I was going walking with my old neighbour/friend but the weather doesn’t look good and there are roadworks between her house and mine which is causing serious delays. The journey should take 10 mins but could take much much longer.
We’ve put it off til next week.
Hoping you all have a good day ???
Good morning everyone from Inverness where we’ve had some overnight snow and everything is looking wintry and white. Such a change from a few days ago - the gardening will have to be on hold for a few days so like Beechnut I might have a trip to the garden centre later instead.
First I’m off to the hairdressers for a much needed colour and cut and pop into Tesco for a bit of shopping
Thinking of everyone with worries and struggles, take care all whatever the day brings ?
Here’s Matt.
Easily done Allsorts I did the same mistake myself yesterday!
Good morning everyone from south Manchester. It’s dull and the sky looks heavy. No clouds but no blue either just a wash of pale grey sky. Oh, big fat plops of rain have just started - indeed commuters on the station platform have their brollies up.
The Boy Wonder has an inter-school cross country event at 4pm. Typical after all the lovely dry weather we’ve had lately! I have book club tonight. It will be nice to see all my friends again and it’s only round the corner in a new wine bar.
You’ve lost your confidence Mick. It will come back as the days go by with no more drama so wait up in the meantime and sit it out. Occupy your mind with other distractions.
Enjoy Wednesday all who can. x
Good morning all from the Scottish Borders. Where has the beautiful weather gone?
I couldn't resist sowing seeds in the greenhouse but will need to cover them with fleece. Yarn group this morning.
Thinking of gMattie and others with worries.
Mick take it gently.
Good Morning everyone from a 7.6c south coast. The sky looks grey and the sun seems to have gone on holiday so it will be dull but dry. Or so we are advised.
Sensible to take things gently Mick. Hope the cuts and bruises are healing nicely.
Oh Mattie what a frustrating day with still no plan for a care package. Hopefully today might resolve that. Thinking of you both.
DH is out with his bike club today so I have an empty but have a 4.30pm appointment for my 4th jab. Himself had his yesterday and received a lot of advice from the person jabbing him which neither of us have had before whilst being jabbed. Included, avoid caffeine, keep hydrated, not too much exercise (he had cycled there and was cycling back) so we were a bit perplexed. Is this booster a different mix to the previous, which were all Pfizer like this one? Who knows. Anyway, he carried on as usual and seems to have had no ill effects.
Have the best day you can everyone.
Apologises for posting on the wrong thread, should have been relationships.
Starting the day tired as have had no sleep again. ?
Morning all
Mick don’t make your bus journey until you feel ready.
grandMattie you obviously needed the sleep, and there is nothing wrong with just sitting ??
My cleaning fairies are here this morning, windows all wide open and I will keep stay in my kitchen out of the way.
Keep safe and well folks ??♀️
