Can I also add something else to my post, you said you listened to you son in law complaining about your daughter. What a fine chap he is, leaving his wife on Mother’s Day and complaining about her. I would have told him, he and children should have been with her and making her feel wanted, sorting things out, not running my daughter down. The cheek of the man. She should ditch him perhaps she would be happier. I’m afraid no one would run my girl down and I’m estranged from her.

Good morning everyone, a damp start here.
Off to the solicitor to look at rewriting my Will this morning, it’s 44 years since I did the first one and a lot has changed since then!
I will walk DDog first, maybe driving to the next village for a change of scenery I think.
Then it’s housework etc.
Take care everyone x

Good Morning everyone from Severnside. It’s dull and not a nice day expected.

I have to apologise for saying yesterday that I’ve sailed on the Barfleur. I’ve done no such thing. It was the Condor we went to one of the Channel Island’s. We have however watched the Barfleur many times sailing by while on Studland beach.

I’ve still to put away a few things from the weekend and might wander over to a garden centre to get a plant I want. I plan to gather a few things around me ready for Easter weekend jobs.

Taking it slow and steady will get you there Mick.

Have a good day all ??

Morning Mick, morning All from a cloudy corner of Somerset.

Yesterday went to plan, had a good chat with my friend. Grocery delivery this morning and some dust removal. A meeting this afternoon which is bound to find some tasks coming my way.

By the state of the car some dust found it’s way here too ash, Mr C will not be amused as it was unusually pristine thanks to his efforts. flowers and a hug for grandmattie. Please rest when you can.

Hope Wednesday is gentle with us all.

Good morning from a grey and possibly drizzly E Kent.
I’m late this morning as I took a sleeping pill. I was bushed after yesterday’s shenanigans.
The palliative care consultant was very helpful to DH, but the poor oncologist couldn’t really decide anything without any results from the urologist, who we are seeing tomorrow. A care package can then be organised…
Still filling the hours with patchworking and just sitting…
Make sure you have the most contented day today. Seize the day! ???????

Good morning all from a dark, chilly Sarthe, into which DH has already driven off for an early blood test in Le Mans, following his zoledronic infusion last month.

I think you’re wise to take things slowly at the moment, Mick.

Thank you for the many lovely comments about our garden. Before the two horses (and briefly a donkey!) met their demise, part of it formed an enclosed paddock for them. We made the most of the chance to sit out yesterday, after the showers had ceased, including one with Saharan dust which we’d avoided in Torbay! By late afternoon, thunder was rumbling around with quite a storm to follow.

I hope those who are suffering find relief today. Take care, everyone. ??????
