For the last few months, I have been a " lurker" - this because after the first and only post so far, the aftermath left such an incredible reaction. Briefly, I posted that we had loaned some equipment over Christmas. Some of the responses were so vehement, bordering on vitriolic {one contributor wrote "what kind of gullible idiot are you anyway"} - breath-taking, that is it only now I have the courage to post again. Have to add though, that that particular post apparently breached the guidelines of GN and it was removed, but of course the damage was done. So.....trying again in the hope that this might elicit a more positive response.

Smileless I'm really very sorry to hear that you've lost your little cat; it's a wretched feeling isn't it? You know that you're doing the right thing and that you're doing it because you love them so much but, no matter what, you feel bereft, guilty and miserable.

for you GSM. I lost my beloved cat just 3 weeks ago and despite having our two dogs, the house feels empty and changed.
We love them so much don't we, they're not just pets they're a big part of our family and we miss them terribly when they've gone.
