Been watching this old classic it's something I could watch over and over again.

I never tire of watching this. Hyacinth is brilliant as is her long suffering husband and family. I also liked the guy next door who lived with mother. They are all good characters.

It’s also on BBC4 on Tuesdays at 8. I don’t mind how often I see it. Somebody said it was so successful because everybody knows somebody like her. I certainly do.

It leaves me cold. I do feel very sorry for her poor long suffering husband Richard though.
