I am off to buy some Easter gifts for GC in a while, and might look at the ironing pile.
Congratulations Bellasnanna
Sending (((hugs))) Kittylester

Good Morning Tuesday 12th April 2022
(81 Posts)Good Morning Everyone,
Its just getting light here in brackley this morning, today I will get back into my routine and visit Bicester for a coffee and snack plus a small shop.
Yesterday I renewed my senior railcard , and see we now have to provide a photo as well .
I also booked for a day trip in June to Cardiff on a coach.
Take Care,
Mick
Sourcing and obtaining the necessary medications for your husband sounds a nightmare grandMattie just adding to the stress of a very sad situation.
?
Wonderful news Bella. You must be walking on air. Hopefully the twins will be home soon and you can enjoy lots of cuddles. It's lovely to hear from you too as I have thought of you often.
Good morning - I believe it is going to rain all day as we have lots of appointments in town!
Thinking of you and your family today kitty.
Wonderful news Bellasnana and lovely to hear from you again.
I too had lower back pain with Covid but now it seems to have gone down my legs. There seems to be no end to it.
Hope you get the meds GrandMattie I have been there and know just how you feel.
Sending all my best wishes to everybody.
Good morning Mick and everyone from a bright Carlisle.
A bit of gentle housework beckons this morning. I am nervously awaiting the arrival of a new phone. Nervously because I've never set one up before, the old one was a gift and set up by my sons who had determined I should get into the 21st century with a smartphone after DH died. I've done my research and in theory it looks straightforward. I hate changing my tech in case something goes wrong. It makes me realise how utterly mentally dependent I am on it. However my old phone has started suffering Sudden Death syndrome ..it goes to bed fully charged and in the morning it's 1%. I've applied various remedies but it's still doing it so yesterday I gritted my teeth and ordered a new one.
Nice to see you again, Bellasnana, congratulations...happy days for you all.
And, hopefully, things go smoothly today for all wrestling with problems.
Good morning from East Yorkshire. Another bright day but damp after last nights rain.
Groundhog Day yesterday just pottering and a gentle walk up the road.
Many congratulations Bellasnana you must be over the moon. I hope the boys make good progress and are home soon. Lovely to hear from you I miss your posts from Malta.
I know how much that thank you means to you and DH * Shazza* a moment to treasure.
I am another one MD who loves Portmerion. I’ve been wanting to return for ages. Such a magical place Pants
Fingers crossed for your tests Urms
I hope all goes as well as it can for your DD Kitty you will be on pins all day ?
Take care everyone.
Marydoll, I had lower back pain when I had Covid and was pleased to read that it was a symptom and that I hadn't permanently damaged myself. Rest and painkillers helped and it went away when the virus did.
Morning all from a definitely damp S Hants. Many congratulations Bellasnana one baby my namesake!
Thoughts with you today kitty
And I’ll be thinking of you Urms ?a fellow fretter here.
Still in isolation, so no real plans today, wishing you all the best one ??
Good morning all,
It’s a little brighter for the moment, but we had heavy rain through the night and more is forecast for later this morning and afternoon.
Lovely to hear from you, Bellasnanna, and with such lovely news. Congratulations ??.
Thoughts are with you, too, Kitty ?.
Oh, BlueBalou, what a worry and a nuisance for you. Cars are great when they behave themselves, but not so much when they play up. I hope your garage gets to the bottom of the problem.
Hope all goes well at the hospital today, Marydoll and that you don’t find the travelling there too stressful.
Wishing everyone the best possible day.
Aw, a time to remember though, ShazzaKanazza! I had a similar experience, being shoehorned into a tiny pop up playhouse with DGS a couple of weeks ago. He said, “Come in my house and have a cup of tea”, but realised once I was there, there was no room!
I find going shopping at 0600 easiest as Mr. gM is still asleep in bed.
Yesterday was good for DH, but a disaster where the new drugs are concerned. I had to call the chemist and the GP about 5 times each to make sure they were prescribed and dispensed. One drug is out of stock from the manufacturer and some was found in Margate, some 20 miles away, to e delivered today (I sincerely hope!). Things are so, so complicated.
Have a good day, May all with concerns be made peaceful. Carpe diem. ??????
Had such a funny moment with GS yesterday. He was in the den at the top of the climbing frame so I took his favourite books so he could read them in there. He looked comfy. He came back in the house with his Snail and the Whale book got my hand and indicated he wanted me in the den. DH had to push me in. So with me and GS who’s 7 it was a squash. I read him the book and then DH had to lift me out. I can tell you that made his eyes water and I think he swore ?
Good morning Auntyflo and all x
Morning from the edge of S Lanarkshire again. Many congratulations Bellasnana, thank you for sharing your happy news, we can do with it just now. Hope you keep in touch now.
Will be thinking especially about your daughter and yourselves today kittylester, please God all will be well.
I was up at my daughter’s farm yesterday where lambing has just started. One of the biggest challenges evidently, is hormonal sheep who are very near giving birth themselves, ‘stealing’ new lambs from other sheep! This has to be prevented at all costs since once they have licked them and imprinted them with their smell, the original mum will reject them! No wonder DD and DSiL look permanently exhausted at the moment.
Wishing everyone the best day possible???
Lovely to see you popping in Bellasnana and with such wonderful news. I am so happy for you and send a loving welcome to the world to your new grandsons.
All good wishes to your and your DD today kitty. You will be in my thoughts.
Give yourself plenty of time when starting off on your journey today and go at your own pace Marydoll. Good luck.
I hope all goes well for your daughter today kitty it must be an anxious time or you all. x
Good morning from Shropshire.
Sending good wishes to both you and your daughter kitty?
Congratulations Bellasnanna,lovely news??????
Shazza, we’ll done to your grandson??????What a star?
Urms?
Have the best day you can everyone??
Good morning everyone from a rainy south coast.
Congratulations, Bellasnanna Lovely news.
Hope all goes well for your DD, kitty
Reading some of the posts today it seems so unfair that we have to cope with so much stress as we get older. BlueBalou Cars can be worse than a dependent relative when things go wrong.
Stay safe and we’ll, everyone.
Just popping back to say congrats ?? Bellasnanna how lovely to have baby cuddles to look forward to!
We saw the bust of Patrick McGoohan Miss Marydoll but I confess to not remembering the TV series to Mr PGs disgust ?
Best wishes for your daughter Kittylester ?
Off I trot for brekkie - ?? worth now methinks ?
A grey and rainy morning in Oxfordshire. We are back from our Cornish adventure and had a wonderful break. Dog is exhausted from all the walking and ball chasing on the beaches.
My thoughts this morning are with Kitty such a difficult day, but one big step nearer to DD being well again.
My DD1 is struggling with her treatment; pain and exhaustion in between infusions. The months seem to stretch ahead and at times life is very gruelling for her. I feel very helpless.
Hopefully there will be some sunshine today for all.
Many congratulations Bellasnana on the birth of your twin grandsons !
Good wishes to your daughter KittyLester My own daughter made a fairly quick recovery when she had the same surgery.
Easter Sunday family meal here cancelled. Two family members still testing positive for Covid and daughter and middle GD now succumbed. DH and I still fine
Dull here in Cheshire.
kittylester thinking of your DD today and to you sitting at home by the phone. ??
That’s lovely to hear Shazza a big well done to your DGS
Here’s Matt.
Good morning everyone from south Manchester where it’s trying to be sunny. Me too. I had some worrying news from the GP yesterday afternoon about my blood test. I need a repeat and depending on the result maybe further tests. I have health anxiety at the best of time so I’m skittering about. Fingers crossed my next blood test is improved.
What happy news Bellasnana. C O N G R A T U L A T I O N S! Hope you might be here to stay. I’ve missed your posts from Malta.
Enjoying Tuesday all who can. x
Good morning from an overcast but mild Colchester. Yesterday's sun and wind meant that I got all the laundry including the boys bedding dry and I didn't have to spend too long in the park pushing a swing as it was too windy.
Tuesday is charity shop volunteering day.
Congratulations to Bellasnana and family and love and hugs for all who need them ?x
