Good morning everyone from a grey, rain-threatened and cold Angus coast. I often lurk on here and enjoy hearing about everyone's doings but haven't posted for ages. I'm afraid the winter lockdown rather knocked my mojo off course and trying to find something upbeat to say defeated me. However, here I am - lured back in by bellasnanna's wonderful news of twin grandsons. How wonderful and many congratulations to all! Lovely to see you are back in France Ash and reunited with old dudders. You must have missed that beautiful place. Marydoll, so glad to see your spirit is as strong as ever, and your 'shop attacks' continue. Good luck with the driving and hospital appointment today. Lauranorderr I saw your post yesterday from sunny Anglesea. DD, Newman (they are both young widows) and four of their Five Teens are there this week - if you happen to see them give them a hug from Nanny
. Grammaretto I have now missed 27 anniversaries but each one has been celebrated in some way, even if it has just been a bowl of his favourite flowers, and lots of thanks for the memories. I celebrated my Big Eight-O while I was away - a wonderful weekend with all of my family together, and I was so glad that Covid didn't prevent our get-together. How lucky was that! Actually (and I say this while knocking on wood with crossed fingers) only my oldest Dgd and myself out of the whole family have avoided the lurgy to date. She is a dancer, and I teach tai chi. Do you think it's the poetry of movement that's doing the trick? Our Tai Chi group are going for our annual "Tai Chi on the beach" on Thursday. Actually I don't think we'll get down on the sand and will have to make do with the Esplanade, but it's so peaceful and calming performing the moves accompanied by the sound and smell of the sea. Our moves, while wrapped up in many winter layers, may not be the most aesthetically pleasing to witness though! I hope to add a photo today of a small part of my garden and my own host of daffodils. We are weeks behind you folks down south, I know, but they are the most uplifting sight, aren't they. The ones round the front have yet to come into bloom, so there's still way to go. Next will come the rhododendrons and azaleas, the clematis and honeysuckle. Just the thought is cheering. Take care, lovely ladies - and Mick. So glad you are feeling ready to spread your wings again. Speak soon all. x
