My spouse and I have been planning a trip to Brazil, Argentina, and Peru for this coming June/July (we’d be traveling from the US). We’re both fully vaccinated against COVID, however the US State Department has travel advisories in place for each country on our list - either to “reconsider traveling” or to not travel there at all - due to both regional COVID rates and crime.
My first instinct is to take these warnings seriously. But is there any chance I’m overreacting?
