Just popping back to wish Fanny a Happy Easter??
Oh dear, we’ve just remembered it’s our Wedding Anniversary today!! Well , I did……
However, I did buy MrOops an Easter egg and I cooked a roast…
Thank you Jaxjacky. I think the end is in sight. I should have known by now though that thinking I would ‘just’ fork in some manure was wrong! It turned out to be stiff physical exercise…unearthing large clods of clay and discovering a cache of discarded builders’ materials, broken roof tiles etc.
Happy Easter to everyone on here. To those going through illness or tough times, a special thought to you. Im not doing much today, but going to family for dinner later. Have a peaceful day.
As often, I'm too late for your Morning thread, Mick.
Just wanted to wish you all a Happy Easter from a warm & sunny Cambs.,
I now have a very heavy cold, feeling rough, but continue to test -negative- for the dreaded Covid.
I will read your friendly thread now.
Warm wishes to you all, especially those in need.
Happy Easter to you all. I haven’t read the posts yet as I’ve been weeding a patch in the border and planted some creeping flox, in the hope they will control the weeds!?then am having some lunch before watching the Monte Carlo Open final. There has been some fabulous tennis this week! Have a peaceful and happy day everyone.
Easter Blessings to all.
Pantglas My best wishes, glad you have so many happy memories.
Bellasnona. Lovely to hear about the babies.
I’m off to lunch with friends then a second visit to Church.
Take care all.
A late good morning to you all. Not had time to read through but will try later.
We have had a busy morning around camp. A lovely Egg hunt and game of baseball and a little saunter along the canal.
Off for lunch at a local pub soon , hope to sit in the garden.
Good morning Mick and all and a happy Easter Sunday.
Got going yesterday and exercised then walked in the local sand dunes in the sun. Sat at a favourite spot, a little wooden bridge on a stream where the irises will come and nice to chat to dog walkers etc whilst I read a book on my phone “Malice in Wonderland” about Cecil Beaton by Hugo Vickers so rather gossipy.
Will give my neglected feet a pedicure later and slept in my son’s bedroom last night, just for a change.
Pantglas harrigran grandmattie ?
Good morning and happy Easter from a very warm Cyprus. Have a lovely day all xxx
Good Morning and Happy Easter greetings to all ??

Happy Easter morning ???
Up early to prepare roast pork for family lunch. Now rushing off to church as DH is taking part in a drama for which he hasn’t seen the script. Will take deep calming breaths when we get there.
Sorry to hear of your loss Pantglas but lovely to celebrate a good life.
Will catch up later with posts.
Gorgeous here birds twittering the first mower has just jumped into life? Roast chicken and Easter eggs await
Good morning Mick and everyone. It’s sunny and warm in my corner of Lancashire this morning, currently 15°C.
Just a flying visit as we are off out with family today so I will read the thread later.
Happy Easter ?
Good morning from Durham where another fine day looks on the cards. Feeling a little fragile this morning - headache, nausea, muscles aching and I wonder if I’m going down with a cold. I’ll do an LFT before I leave as I’m spending a few hours with DD2 and DGS2. She will be on her own for most of the day, as her DH is at a football match and then out to eat with his friend and others – sort of civilized stag afternoon.
?pantglas
Hope things at the mattie house remain stable too.
Enjoy the day.
Harrigran
. Enjoy the memories x
Happy Easter everyone from the Angus coast where the 50 shades of grey are breaking up a little and I saw earlier a rather fetching shade of blue. As I wrote then, the sun shine on my left shoulder, but it's still shy and had gone before I turned round. Mick I had a day like you yesterday - just stayed put - and I have half yesterday's casserole for dinner today. With little Easter eggs for dessert. How lovely to hear your little grandsons are progressing so well Bella. There's something so wonderful about those little trusting eyes gazing up at you as you feed them - it melts the heart doesn't it. I hope little Jax will soon be weaned off his wires too. Marydoll you're such a stoic. Keep on keeping on and enjoying your own bed. So sorry to hear about your aunt Pantglas but glad to hear her final illness was short. She sounds to have been a lovely lady and you will all miss her. Aren't memories wonderful things! Today I am imagining all the happy Easter Egg Hunts which have taken place here over the years - such joyful times. I know that there are many empty chairs at the feast today and I hope everyone enjoys the memories that sit in their place. Lots of love x
Let’s try again, my first message went into the ether!! Nice and sunny here in Harrogate
Good to hear your DH seems more settled GeandMattie.
Sympathies Pantglas
Yesterday I had a whirlwind for most of the day. It was my DGS, now 8, but still very small for his age. Every toy was out on the floor and he read some books, then had the garden toys out! We took him to the park where he decided to use the baby swings! Then went on an uphill walk - I was puffing some way behind. Fortunately DH was with him. When we got back home I was not allowed in the same room as him, when he emerged he was covered in face paint, then decided I needed a cuddle!
After Dd collected him I was knackered!!
Have a happy Easter folks!
Have the best day possible folks
Good morning from West York's it looks like another warm day we are at D D today lamb is on the menu not my favourite but being with family makes it ok .lovely to hear twins are doing well bellasnana . Pantglas these are for you? Have a good day all.
Happy Easter from a sunny W Kent.
Off to DD2 for lunch and hope to sit in their lovely garden.
Good morning from a mild NE.
Vaccination centre was busy, crowds of people milling around made me feel uncomfortable. I didn't have my reading glasses with me and they gave me forms to fill in, I coped by holding the clipboard at arm's length. I am expecting some communication from the NHS after the answers I filled in. One question was " do you ever feel a little down or lonely " ? Bearing in mind I was recently widowed who wouldn't be ?
DD is visiting this afternoon.
Enjoy the sunshine.
Good morning everyone from a beautiful morning in Oxfordshire.
Pleased to hear the babies are doing well and that you are getting a bit better Marydoll.
Roast for dinner today, all prepped last night, I had a busy day yesterday, bad new always stresses me out and I have to keep busy, so I cleaned the house, mowed the lawns, made 2 Keto loaves, I rose perfectly but didn’t taste of much, one only rose about 2 inches but tasted wonderful, according to MrOops.
( they aren’t for me ) so as I’m changing US measurements into grams, more work needs to be done on the recipe.
Good news is that MzOops came out of clink in the early hours. That girl will turn my hair grey.
At least I can now relax and enjoy my Easter Sunday.
Hope all of you lovely ladies manage to find some joy today.
You’re garden work seems never ending EkwaNimitee I hope you have a chance to put your feet up at some point and are recovered from your venesection after effects.
