Thought is was the same word all over!!

Not at all. And if I were doing the puzzle I wouldn’t be coming on here first for clues. Actually it would be very clever to work it out from anything said here!

I tried it on my final line expecting it to be incorrect. I’ve since read it’s an acceptable scrabble word.

How odd!

I thought it was a name but when it seemed inevitable I Googled it (cheat) and found that it was indeed an American term and also used as a vowel in England. So at least two meanings. But it annoys me
