Hosting Ukranians

My D and SIL are to have a mum and a 2 year old, but progress is slow.
Just out of interest MOMB are younger men not barred from leaving Ukrainian, but required to stay and fight?

I thought that, MawtheMerrier, but our next door neighbour drove up to London last week to bring back a family (Father, mother and 2 teenage boys) to stay with a family nearby.

Yes we thought that was a bit odd but the dad has been working in Poland recently. They are from Kharkiv which I think was bombed early on. Perhaps he didnt go back for fear of his life. I do not know

I think their other rules regarding men. Most can stay but there are exceptions.

Someone in our village is hosting a family and 6 other families are coming to a town near us and I know another family in the other small town who is taking a woman and her child.

I think is is wonderful but obviously awful it has to come to this
