Ha! I just assumed it was because I’m not a gardener aggie that I didn’t recognise the word! By the way you don’t say where you’re posting from each morning? Maybe you told us when you started on here as I’m thinking it’s N.I?
Morning and thanks to Mick .
GMattie such a lovely treat for the DGDs.
Do hope all the covid sufferers reach an early neg with mild symptoms and can return to normal activities.
Harrigran as said babysteps, it is emotionally draining and better done at your own pace. ?
Following recent family funeral decided (for what must be 3 time) to have a paperwork clear out to make life little easier for our DSs.Have now condensed our life into 1 boxed file.
Now if I could get DH in the overfilled garage for a sort out.? as both DSs have no inclination to use the numerous boxes DIY tools.
After a busy day of childcare and long walk along canalside yest having a lazy day although the ironing basket is calling me.
Thoughts to all with illness and worry.
Sunny again in the north of Scotland. I’m coughing so off to do an lft as family were here at the weekend.
Best wishes to all especially those who as we used to on the west coast of Scotland are “under the doctor”. ?
Good morning Mick and everyone from sunny Carlisle.
I've just had a delivery from Tesco and packed it away. There always seem to be daunting amounts of food for one person, I remind myself that it is for a fortnight. Bar the veggies that is. There are more than usual of those today...I am pigging out on purple sprouting broccoli and asparagus, all British and now in season.
Thank you for your kind comments yesterday re my prolapse . Perhaps I should clarify, it's one or other of the pelvic organs that have shifted not my back. Ironically, when I garden it's my back I am careful of, having strained a disc years ago....gardening of course! Never thought of training my pelvic floor muscles.
Urmston you inspire me to go back to a low carb diet! Last year I lost 20lb without trying and it turned out to be the result of the stress of moving home. As soon as I moved into my new home the weight stopped falling off. Due to Christmas and DS2 being here and cooking big meals plus an addiction to hot cross buns, most of that 20lbs has returned. As I'm not thinking of moving again, a low carb diet it has to be.
Wishing you all a pleasant day.
Belated birthday wishes. BlueSaffire ?. Glad to hear some of po orly,s are improving. Been for hair cut and blown feels a lot better, we have been to do weekly shop I will have to start making a list a few things doubled up ? .Have a good day .
Hello, to all who are ill, hope you feel better. I'm recovering from some dental work, but hopefully on the mend. Going to post my Council vote later. Might go for coffee when I'm out. Not much planned. Have a good day everyone.
All fingers may be uncrossed, my friends. My test is negative! Thank you for your concern. ?
Sigh …. For tipis read tulips
Good morning from W Kent. Friend coming for tea this morning and then meeting GS5 from school later and cooking dinner for him and his sister.
Very good wishes to all.
Good morning all . The sun is just peeping out now it is still chilly but no frost , my miniature tipis are starting to look a bit disheveled, but they have given us a lovely display
Painting class starts again tomorrow , it is the only outing on the agenda at the moment
Such a difficult task Harrigran , the last time my eldest was home he made off with his Dads cap . It had been hanging in the back hall , I said ok to it going , but I felt a lump in my throat for months as I missed it every time I reached for my coat
Hang in there Marydoll you will soon feel better , that sounds like a lovely Doctor
Oh harrigran a painful and sad task indeed. ?
My dear stepfather has only recently opened mum’s wardrobes and started putting out weekly charity bags and my much missed mum died four years ago last month. The time is right when the time is right. x
Good morning Mick and everyone. Glorious sunshine in my corner of Lancashire, currently 11°C.
I started my new gout meds yesterday, so far so good. Today I must book a glucose blood test appointment. Then I really must attack the laundry which has been building up while I’ve been off my feet.
That sounds like a fun day with the girls GrandMattie, hope all goes to plan for your DH.
Well done Urms, low carb is the way to go.
Hello Scentia, good to see you back.
Hope you have a -ve test Ash.
to Chrissie, Kitty, Gingster and daughters going through challenging times.
Harrigran
Waving to FannyC ?? and a big {{{hug}}} to Marydoll.
Hope all our Covid warriors are not feeling too poorly and -ve tests are not too far off.
Thinking of all our grans going through difficult times. Wishing everyone the best day possible ???
Good morning Mick, Annie and all. Just popping in to read and run. Nothing exciting happening here, except a parcel delivery sometime this afternoon.
Thinking of GrandMattie, Marydoll, Harrigran, ,and DD's of Chrissilou, and Ginster.
Oh, just a thought, those elusive orange stains appeared on my lefthand overnight. Did anyone get to the bottom of what caused it? I can't find the thread.
Have a good day one and all.
Harrigran ? small steps as I keep saying to my mum x
That's so hard harrigran. I remember when I started clearing out my late DH's things (28 years ago now) everything mysteriously found its way back in to his cupboard before a week had gone. I couldn't bear to let them go - and in fact I still have one of his golfing sweaters even now. Remember, there's no rush - just do it in whatever timescale suits you. There's no right or wrong when it comes to grief x
Good morning everyone. It’s another sunny day on the south coast so more gardening before the forecasted wind gets up.
I have very happy memories of Hyde Hall, gingster from my time at horticultural college during the nineties. We would have study days there and always looked forward to buying plants from a shed in the corner of the small car park. How it has changed!!
Hope everyone has a lovely day and thinking of those with family worries. Take care of yourselves.
Good morning from beautiful sunny Anglesey. A stroll on the beach, boules in the garden and a card game or two in the sunshine.

Good Morning all from the Scottish Borders where it is not at all warm and should be
I have to make a poster, not my favourite job, for our open studios next month when our town is en fete.
Good to read that so many of you are sounding better and brighter.
Having inherited a bread making machine I was given an electric slicer and tried it out yesterday. It looks lethal and cut the bread even worse than with a knife! It will now go in the bin.
Harrigran, I feel for you. I have disposed of most of DH's clothes now but it's his desk and books I can't begin to tackle.
Chrissielou your DD is such a brave girl!
Hope the sun shines for you today.
Good Morning all, nothing to report but just wanted to wish everyone a lovely day in the sunshine.
harrigan
.
Good morning all,
It’s a beautiful, bright sunny morning and beginning to gradually warm up. Must have been chilly earlier though as the heating kicked in.
It was a super day for getting the bedding dry yesterday, and I managed to get three loads of washing outside and dried, ready for ironing later on, so I hope it’s the same for you today BlueSapphire.
Pilates shortly, then perhaps a walk whilst the weather looks so good.
Hope you all have a good day.
Good morning from a bright and sunny Essex by the sea.
I have admin to do this morning and some food shopping this afternoon.
Wishing all with illness or loved ones with illness the best of days.
Have a lovely Thursday everyone and enjoy the sun xxx

Good morning from a misty NE again.
My covid test was negative yesterday so keeping my fingers crossed. My sister's test was negative too but she was feeling poorly yesterday afternoon.
DIL is going to take me shopping this afternoon but before that she is taking GD2 to the cinema to see Fantastic beasts. She is so kind as she has to drive 45 minutes to get to me.
Decided to look in DH'S wardrobe last night, took ten shirts out and folded them up and put them to one side ready for a charity bag, baby steps but painful ones. It was six months yesterday since he died.
Enjoy your day with family.
Good morning from a bright and sunny Northampton. Must get a load of washing in.
Awaiting a Sainsburys delivery this morning. After lunch off to ballet class and then a visit to the surgery for a blood pressure check. This evening our usual group walk around the village followed hy a meal at the pub.
Thank you everyone for birthday wishes yesterday; I had a lovely day. Opened a bottle of fizz which went down well!
Enjoy the sunshine everyone!
