Your idea of heaven (tongue-in-cheek)

Thank You, Day 13 now and I think I am turning the corner.

My idea of heaven is eternal warm spring/summer days sharing it with family and friends by the sea with a favourite cocktail

Perpetual summer for me please.

Being at the airport, awaiting a sunny Greek holiday. Watching the planes depart.. knowing I’m going too ?☀️

@blinko. I don’t think I have ever turned my mattress. But clean white cotton sheets, bliss.

How I agree with Lucca saying a 'phone call from the oncologist that it was all a mistake. Our health is the most important thing in life. Wishing you all the best Lucca.

Afternoon tea in a warm sunny garden followed by a snooze on the sunbed with a good book - which might or might not be read before the nap ensues.

Some time for myself everyday. It never happens!!!

This brought tears to my eyes Lucca as we are in the same position. A cancer diagnosis out of the blue with no previous symptoms. How I hope they are wrong but I don’t think so ???

My best wishes to you granto2. All I can say is I hope the care you receive is as kind as mine is. We have a wonderful unit locally,

No dogs left to yelp or bark during the day.

No prohibited but ignored footballs being thumped back and forth on the grassed area for hours on end.

Sitting in the garden on a warm, not hot day, sipping a pink gin listening to the quiet; dogs and footballers permitting.

No dust off dry roads messing up my car just after its been cleaned.

A short break in Venice. Being whisked from the airport by speedboat and feeling the salty wind on my face

Wonderful! Visited Venice many times and that journey across the lagoon is a wonderful beginning and end to the visit.

My idea of heaven now is a day when I am expecting neither visitors not deliveries. I disable the doorbell and chill out. Eat what I want when I want it, get up and go to bed when I please.

Diving once more in the Caribbean and being fit enough to do so with a lovely light fish meal and ex-Pat strength G&T when I eventually surface!

A house that stays clean and tidy while I sit in the sunshine having hugs from my two GC - and them doing as they are told!!

My idea of heaven would be a month in Spring in Stresa on the shores of beautiful Lake Maggiore with my darling DH. Unfortunately his ill-health means we'll never be able to go abroad again, but we have some lovely memories - so perhaps heaven is just what I have now because I still have him.

Sitting in the sun in my garden with a glass of Prosecco a bowl of crisps.

Walking in the countryside then going into a cafe and treating myself to a meal with a book by my side. Also listening to Classic FM on my radio.

Heaven for me is any day spent with my DH, which is pretty much every day really.

A day when I don't spent half of it in and out of the loo and can even venture further than the garden.

Any day that I can devote to sewing and crafting accompanied by tea and chocolate!

I feel very humbled by all those GNers who simply want good health, peace and happiness, or to have a loved one with them again. My prayers and good wishes to you all

A large library that permanently updates, food delivered once a day (I don't eat much), and a barman 7-10pm, with a big fluffy dog to love.

A nice detatched house with a walled garden big enough to grow veg and to have several rescue dogs running around would be wonderful!
