Morning Mick and all

grandMattie I admire your energy and resilience, your DH is so lucky to have you to care for you, I wish him a peaceful day.

Happy Birthday Ladyleftfieldlover ???

Wishing your DH a safe journey Ashcombe

The sky is blue but there is a nip in the air here in S E Essex, we have The Imp today, so it’s anyones guess what sort of day we shall have ?

I had a reasonably successful shop at Lakeside yesterday, it was lovely to mooch round on my own.

(I have missed GrannySomersets news, but sounds like she needs (((hugs)))
Keep safe and well folks ?‍♀️?

Good morning all from another glorious day in north Wales ???????.

Weather is sorted for the week of lovely Gwen’s ‘oliday in Llandudno where we enjoyed a natter and a nibble yesterday (non calorific ?, you understand...?). Mr Gwen sat patiently listening to our wittering on about our Welsh families - wot a ?

I shall be goddessing domestically today with curry and chilli con carne to be prepped before collapsing in a heap in the summerhouse with something chilled...?

Happy birthday ? LLFL and best wishes for all with sad tidings today ?

Good morning Mick and all from a sunny, chilly S Hants. Sounds like a constructive appointment Ashcombe safe journey OD.
grandMattie ?
A very Happy Birthday to Ladyleftfieldlover enjoy your meal ??.
I’m dithering whether to plant up hanging baskets, or put the plants in the greenhouse overnight for a week which is what I’d advise other people!
Thoughts with GrannySomerset a chapter closing.
Enjoy today if you can ??

Good morning, it’s a chilly start to the day here.
I have craft club this morning- I haven’t been for weeks so I am really looking forward to seeing everyone again.
Apart from that nothing planned, that suits me fine ?
I hope everyone’s day goes as well as possible x

Morning all from a grey West Oxfordshire. I think today is the 26th April - well I know it is because it’s my birthday! 69 today. Neither of my parents reached this age. Dad was 48 when he died and mum was 67. But onwards and upwards. OH and I are going to my favourite restaurant for lunch where I shall have Steak Diane. This morning though I have to finish off a new bread recipe which was in this week’s Observer. It requires no kneading but must be left to prove overnight. ???to lots of you.

Good morning all and it’s a bright but chilly one here in Essex.

Up early as I’m going to try to get an appointment with the GP for DH. I will go and wait outside for the 7 o’clock opening. I expect there will be a queue.
He continues to snooze in a warm, cosy bed! ??.
He wouldn’t bother himself (‘waste of time’) .

Have a gentle day, whatever it brings. ???

Good morning all from bright and sunny South Lanarkshire.

Good to hear that your appointment went well Ashcombe.

Always thinking of you and your DH Mattie.

This morning is the funeral of our volunteer who died a few weeks ago.

I have an appointment in the afternoon to have my eyebrows tinted, they’re turning very white and coarse and don’t take the tint as well now. Hey ho.

Have the best day possible everyone.

Good morning from a bright E Kent. The day promises to be sunny although the temperatures will barely reach the teens.
Yesterday was very quiet. I did speak to the consultant who will visit next week. She is very kind. I also needed to speak/see the GP. she made an appointment to see DH in person (!) this afternoon. He will be so tired as he is having a needle biopsy this morning - I suspect that will be very painful as well as tiring.
Not an especially restful night again - he then normally dozes through the day, but not today, sadly.
I hope all hospital appointments went well, the sick bay people are out… and today brings a modicum of peace to all. Carpe diem/horam. ????????

Good morning, everyone, from a fine Torbay.

A very successful (face to face) appointment with my lovely cardiologist at the hospital yesterday in which he agreed with me about the unsatisfactory nature of telephone consultations offered by my GP Practice. He was most supportive and took time to explain in detail my heart condition and agreed with my suggestion (rejected locally!) to try a water tablet on alternate days.

In haste as we have to be out early for DH to catch a train from Newton Abbot as he is going back to France for a couple of weeks. His cats and his garden will be grateful!

Have as good a day as possible, everyone. ??????
