Looking good Urmstongran ???
Happy Birthday
Enjoy every moment
Mine next week 62....
Afternoon everyone, lovely day today, may do some weeding. Yesterday I made my mind up to update my iPhone which I’d had for 7 years, so went to a Vodafone shop where a very helpful young man helped me (I’m not very technically minded), and I chose another phone and he transferred everything over to the new one, so stress free for me, I don’t know why I put it off for so long. Wishing all with worries a good day, those with journeys a safe trip, and those with birthdays a very happy day.
Love the LWW pic, Urmstongran. Did you take the pic or are you there? ??
Good morning everyone from a breezy overcast Co Armagh .I’m a bit late , but I do have one wash on the line and another churning away ☺️
I have to make a couple of birthday cards but lacking inspiration makes me procrastinate!
I’ll have to have a go as soon as I finish my decaf coffee .
Wishing everyone the best day you can manage , Marydoll I’m really jealous ☺️
Good morning racer Mick and all from a bright northwest coast.
Apart from a sore arm, I don’t seem to have any side effects from my jab yesterday, fingers crossed.
Singing this afternoon, going from Irish ballads to We’ll meet again and some 60s stuff, no classical this week.
TV engineer looked at temperamental TV and did a factory reset. Have lost Netflix…
Right, off to hang the washing out and hope you have a good day and thoughts to those with troubles.
Good morning all from a sunny W Kent, really blue sky.
Off to shops and then quiet day.
Happy birthday LLFL. Enjoy your trip Marydoll
Best wishes to all.
Good morning all. Just catching a ray of sun at the moment here on the Angus coast. We're blanketed in thick grey cloud - but never mind, summer will come. A busy couple of days past, which is unusual for me. A lovely meet up with DD in Perth on Sunday - a long leisurely lunch with lots of catch-up and then a sneaky stroll round M&S. Then yesterday was our tai chi group's committee meeting after which a couple of members came to me for coffee and a blether, followed by a wander through my daffodil field garden. I can own no responsibility for their profusion, but the person I bought the house from was a daffodil fanatic and there are some beauties. Sadly, they're beginning to die back now - I do so love them. Mick enjoy a wonderful trip down memory lane as you watch your cycling this afternoon - I too wonder if you were a professional cyclist in the past? Grandmattie I hope your DH doesn't find today too exhausting. Marydoll enjoy your break in the Kingdom! Happy Birthday to LLFL, and enjoy your tai chi Nannagarra. Oh, and what a gorgeous little cutie your DGS is Glammagran And a very happy Tuesday to all! Off now to hang out the washing (which has been waiting for me to do so for the past 45 minutes!) and just get on in general x
Happy birthday LLFL??.We are going shopping for curtains today that's about as exciting as it gets.Harrigran i am the same if I set clock it's very annoying isn't it .Happy holidays to all going away .Have a good day all.
Good morning from a dry and brightish Dunblane where the daffodils are just starting to get past their best. Always a bit later here. A day of housework is on the cards but maybe a walk in the afternoon. Managed to donate my mum’s 1940’s fur coat to a charity shop yesterday so many will not take them nowadays. I had found it difficult to part with it although I would never have worn it. It was so heavy as well. Hope everyone manages a smile at some point today.
Good Morning Mick and everyone from sunny, very dry Carlisle where it is inevitable that the hose will have to come out again today. I visited the garden centre yesterday but confined myself to buying little pots of alpines.
Today, a bit of housework and some admin before doing that watering and planting the alpines.
Happy birthday LLFL and happy holidays to you Marydoll and to everyone enjoying one.
Glammagran..that is a fine looking young man!
And welcome TheodoraP..hope retirement isn't too far off.
And my thoughts are with you both grandMattie, hoping the day goes as well as possible.
Good morning everyone from a bright and sunny Northampton. Looks good for our health walk this afternoon; will be good to be in company and have a natter.
Before then must get myself showered and dressed, tidy up the kitchen etc. No dinner to prepare for tonight as the chicken soup I made yesterday will do another meal.
Gardening didn't happen yesterday as it was raining when I went out to make a start, so stayed in and browsed the internet read instead. Will have to wait for another day.
Happy birthday ? Ladyleftfieldlover. May the sun shine on you today.
Urmston should love to join your LWW!
Marydoll enjoy your stay away.
And may the sun shine on everyone today!
Good morning Mick and everyone. It’s cloudy in my corner of Lancashire, currently 9°C.
Happy Birthday Ladyleftfieldlover.
Safe journey to your DH Ashcombe, glad your cardio appointment went well.
Enjoy your break Marydoll.
A quiet day for me again today, I have a zoom meeting after lunch and need to send a couple of birthday cards.
Thinking of all our grans going through difficult times.
Wishing everyone the best day possible ???
Good morning from East Yorkshire it’s a cloudy sky but the sun is trying it’s hardest to break through. I’m up late after a disturbed night.
My usual coffee morning today. A quiet afternoon before back to routine of picking GS up from school. I have him alone as DH isn’t home until about 7. I have some bananas going soft so I think we will make banana cake. He loves to do baking and eating the results of course.
Happy Birthday Leftfieldlover ??
Oo that tea sounds delicious Shazza what time shall I pop round ??
Hope you enjoy your break away Marydoll very welcome I’m sure.
What a gorgeous little boy Glammagran
Hope today goes as well as it can GM ?
Take care everyone
Good morning from the Sefton coast.
Oh, I do enjoy an Anne Tyler novel, Urms.
Happy Birthday LLFL.
Swimming and Tai Chi for me today followed by a Sainsbury’s click and collect.
Sending best wishes to all and a warm hug and a ?to grandMattie and her DH.
NannyJan hope your husband recovers swiftly and if you pick it up from him you are ok? It’s just unavoidable now.
What a bonny grandson you have there glammagran a real cutie. ?
Oops my mum is notorious for having stuff in her cupboard years out of date. We always check the date before we eat anything.
Good morning from a dull and overcast Black Country.
The dreaded Covid has now appeared in the house, after avoiding it all this time. MrJ after feeling under the weather did a test last night and it was positive. I have just done one and it was negative. I was supposed to be going over to Mums today, but it is probably wise that I don't, as she is 92.
So, no plans today, there is ironing awaiting for me though
Enjoy your break Marydoll I google it, it looks gorgeous!
Happy Birthday Ladyleftfieldlover I hope you have a wonderful day.
Good morning Auntyflo and all x
Good morning from a bright but chilly N.Bucks.
Happy Birthday LLFL
Happy holidays Mary and all others celebrating or having a break.
Up and ready for arrival of smallest Grandson. A morning of playing, swings and an aching back. He loves to walk but hasn’t quite got the courage to do it by himself.
This afternoon will be preparation for tomorrow’s craft club and I suppose I should tackle a bit of ironing.
Wishing all a smile or two in you day.
Good morning all.
On Sunday my DGS2 had his 1st birthday party. The weather was lovely so all the relatives were able to sit outside. We had him for the day yesterday as it’s DD2’s first day back at work after a long maternity leave.
Unfortunately, his sister aged 3 wasn’t feeling very well after contracting food poisoning from a small snack pack of cocktail sausages on Friday purchased from the café at a country park. She’d said they tasted funny.
We have booked a Saga cruise for August. It will be our first holiday for over 3 years as everything got cancelled in 2020 and we felt too nervous last year to go on holiday.
Next weekend we are going to the Cheltenham jazz festival. Life is starting to feel a bit more normal.
Reading about rowdy passengers from Urms and Granmaretto reminded me of a holiday we had in Na Trang in Vietnam about 7 years ago. There were direct flights between there and Moscow. When we were leaving we saw the Russians queuing up at the departure gate and most of them were swigging from full size bottles of vodka.
IFA round at 12pm and then babysitting this evening. Following GP online appointment yesterday pm I’ve been put on medication for high BP. I was told a big increase has been seen after 2 years of restrictions and now Putin.
Thinking of all those with illness and anxiety, especially GM. ? Have a good day all.
Good morning from a cloudy South Yorkshire. Not much to report from here today. Hopefully catch up with some jobs. We enjoyed yesterday's walkies and then childminding followed by some more walking. I should be very fit ? but I'm not ?
Happy birthday ladyleftfieldlover
Have a good day all xx
Good morning from sunny Colchester. Another dry day. We had a few spots of rain yesterday but still need to water the garden.
Tuesday is charity shop volunteering. A day of chatter and a bit of work.
Happy Birthday LLFL and love to all ? x
