I’m like you Blue Sky. I am really contented at home. I gave up my part time job between lockdowns and don’t miss it.

Kate the pandemic has affected me more mentally than physically. I’m quite happy to stay home or at least, not too far away from it. I guess it’ll take time.

I went to the Van Gogh Exhibition today. A nice young man on visitor direction duty offered to fetch me a chair. I was very grateful to be able to sit down to watch the video presentation.
An excellent exhibition, by the way, well worth the money. It is showing in several cities If it is near you, I recommend it whole-heartedly.

You just need more shopping practice!

Sadly, yes.

Today was the first time I had been into a shop in two years, between the hip fracture and being in the highest risk category it was prudent to avoid shopping. I went into town today with DH to go to the dentist and we then went shopping for new bedding. I am absolutely exhausted with aching leg muscles I don’t think I’ll be moving for the rest of the evening. Is this what I’ve waited 2 years for? grin
