Had an online energy (gas / electric) bill today from Shell. (Previously with a smaller company that went under - Pure Planet). Last month’s gas bill was £99 - this month’s is £52. Since buying an Airfryer we have not used the oven, so I think the saving on the bill is down to that. The electric bill is roughly the same for the two months - £49 and £46.

I bought an air fryer oven just over a month ago and it cooks far quicker than my conventional electric oven and grill. Only a few dishes require it to be preheated whereas the main oven now takes an age to come up to temperature which means there has to be a resultant saving on time and electricity. I’m very pleased with the results so far. I am now a one person household so I’m finding it very useful. My main oven will still come into its own for family Sunday lunches and batch cooking cakes of course, but that doesn’t happen every day.

Do you have Gas central heating? My gas usage has been much lower over the last couple of weeks because the weather has been much milder than it has been.

Yes, that’s a fair comment, avitor1
