I dont think we will lose books though, for the same reason records are still going

Bigotry towards people who are “other”. Things that many older people still consider moot: race, faith, sexuality are simply not up for debate with most Millennials, Gen Z etc.

I worry about the future of libraries.

I agree landlines will go there has been talk of it for a while. If they stop printing news papers there will be thousands of men walking around aimlessly.
Around here they are like robots leaving their houses the same time every day to walk through the woods to the shop. I said to my husband before he retired I hope you don't adopt that boring routine! Glad to say he hasn't he is happy to read the news on line.

Portable media of all types. We will stream everything - books, news, music, film, and things we haven't thought of yet.

Shops. Other than food shops, which will last a bit longer, I think most shopping will move online.

To be honest, I think most of that is happening already.
