If money, space or property design was no problem what luxury would you treat yourself to.
I think mine would be a 20 metre swimming pool full of lovely warm water. Oh and a hunky pool man to keep it clean!
What selfish indulgence would you have?

I'd have a bigger house, with a few acres of land, and I'd have an animal shelter - cats, dogs, donkeys, birds - and the staff to car for them. I'd also have a cook, cleaner and someone to do the laundry.

I would spend more time in Australia with my DD, pay-off all my children's mortgages, have clean sheets every day, oh and also pour Zoflora in my toilet cistern every day!

A library that automatically had certain genres of books delivered

suzikyoo Sat 04-Jun-22 18:22:35

Charleygirl5, you took the words right out of my mouth - oh the bliss of a Chauffeur outside the door 24/7 !!!

Musicgirl Sat 04-Jun-22 17:59:34

A Steinway grand piano and a room big enough to put it in.

Modompodom Sat 04-Jun-22 17:32:31

A cleaner and a cook, and definitely an extra pair of hands to help me declutter.

I don’t think you’d have a penny to your name after you’d eradicated world hunger!

oodles Sat 04-Jun-22 17:22:01

once I'd eradicated world hunger and kept some worthy charities going for some years.....
Staff, gardener, housekeeper, cleaner, chauffeur with a nice electric car, someone to look after the animals and my children's animals if needed, a little pied a terre back home. Some glorious holidays all over the UK and around the world with help with planning and exploring so I got the best experience possible. While I'd rather not use private medicine I have some niggly complaints that I'd love to have investigated until sorted if that is possible. I'd love eto get to go to lots of exhibitions and concerts and some lovely original artwork would be wonderful too
A farm for one child and whatever the other wanted similarly
Think I've been watching too much about the queen's life recently lol

Housekeeper - weekly, Cook - 3 times a week, limitless airline tickets to hike every mountain peak in the world.

nannyof4 Sat 04-Jun-22 16:20:33

I would love to buy a holiday home on a camp site in a nice area, and like people watching. One thing is the Caravan would be a lot easier to keep clean and tidy.Oh isn't keen on this idea, but he doesn't help in the house anyway

HillyN Sat 04-Jun-22 16:05:56

I would like to buy some land and build custom designed homes for our DDs and their families and a bungalow for ourselves. However I wouldn't want a swimming pool, hot tub, servants etc because it would spoil our holidays. The pleasure of having somewhere to swim or relax would become boring if you could do it all year round.

Hihosilver Sat 04-Jun-22 16:04:43

I would spend a year traveling to all the tennis grand slams. First class and lovely hotels.

lovebeigecardigans1955 Sat 04-Jun-22 16:04:27

I'd buy a slightly bigger house and get it exactly to my liking inside and out and move in when it is completed, then I'd get my present home altered 'just so' before making my decision as to which one to live in.

Hihosilver Sat 04-Jun-22 16:01:37

Me too, I am a nervous swimmer, so would love a pool of my own. It could only be 4ft deep though lol.

Daisend1 Sat 04-Jun-22 15:54:06

Money no object my time would be my own to travel
where ever, leaving a housekeeper /gardener etc in charge. Would not need a chauffeur, just pick up the phone and book a taxi,

Redhead56 Sat 04-Jun-22 15:25:42

I have talked about this with my husband. We would make sure our son and daughter and their families were financially sound. I know they would still work it's the way they are.
We would buy and run an animal sanctuary with some chalets or cabins for volunteers to stay.

Supergran1946 Sat 04-Jun-22 15:16:29

My luxury would be a heated indoor swimming pool. Also would like a small apartment in New York state to be near family

Whitewavemark2 Sat 04-Jun-22 15:14:19

I would buy an island and bugger off. Fill it with animals flowers and love.

pooohbear2811 Sat 04-Jun-22 15:12:50

find a nice island somewhere, nothing too hot, north of Scotland will do, with a helipad and a pilot. With a 3 bed 2 bathroom house, with an annexe for the family when visiting. A swimming pool and a gym t keep me amused and a large workshop for all my creativity.

Happysexagenarian Sat 04-Jun-22 15:04:20

A Morris 14/6 pre war car, or a Morris Traveller, fully restored of course so that I wouldn't have to worry about that. I love classic cars. Maybe a chauffeur as I get older.

Also a gardener to help my husband with the garden.
And a garden swing seat for me, they're so comfortable.

Tooyoungytobeagrandma Sat 04-Jun-22 15:02:17

A personal chef daily, personal hairdresser 3 times a week and someone to c h ange the bedding everyday for top quality bedlinen and deal with laundering of. Other than that a chauffer would be nice but would prefer the above.

Nancat Sat 04-Jun-22 15:02:06

I love my Garden Flat, so wouldn't move, but would like to get horrid leylandii hedges removed, and cat proof fencing installed so that my cat could have the run of the garden instead of just her catio. Once the important thing is done, I'd buy houses for all my family so that I could stop worrying about them, and maybe have my own flat professionally redecorated. Oh! what a lovely dream.

garnet25 Sat 04-Jun-22 14:52:49

A house in southern Italy big enough for the family, with a 25-metre pool and air fairs to visit whenever we want to.

Gwenisgreat1 Sat 04-Jun-22 14:51:18

Ooooh! I would have a cook and housekeeper, also a tall dark and handsome Chauffeur and possibly move to a more generously sized house!

Allsorts Sat 04-Jun-22 14:09:52

To have a lovely apartment with a patio garden, a car and chauffeur and first class pass to fly anywhere in the world. Never mind I will go and mow the lawn.
