I hope I don’t get platty joobs, it sounds like a most distressing condition. Are they contagious?

OK if you think it’s absolutely fine, that’s what a forum is for! Otherwise if everybody agreed there would be no debate. I gave you my opinion without any unpleasantness. I never got to read the original thread.

Talking of the celebrations, was surprised at Louis’ behaviour. I know he’s only four, but still ... bet Great Grandmama was secretly horrified.

Dont be silly. He pulled a couple of faces. He’s four years old in a totally unnatural setting. Bet Queen wasn’t horrified at all

If you saw all of the balcony footage no doubt you would have noticed Louis and his Great Grandma interacting. Louis was absolutely engaged with HM and her with him…

I hadn’t heard this until yesterday when my student granddaughter greeted me when we met for coffee. It made me laugh because she’s a republican and loves to wind me up in a way that has us both challenging each other’s points of view in a light hearted way.

I hope everyone enjoys their celebrations over the next four days or their escape from it all if that’s their wish.
