I must confess I wash my hair before going to the hairdressers? How silly is that! Also I wouldn’t answer my door unless I had my mascara on, come on gransnetters, What do you do that is funny!

I wash my hair before I go to the hairdresser's too. I make the visit to the hairdresser's as brief as possible I cannot stand the small talk. I have my hair sprayed wet then trimmed I go home and scrunch it dry myself.
I pencil my eyebrows before I face the world. Its not because I'm vain it's just that I lost them worrying about our daughter at uni away from home I am self conscious about it.

I wash my hair before going to the hairdressers as well I don't like the idea of them putting their fingers in my dirty locks Yuk!
If someone bumps into me I say sorry when it should be them, I find Italian and French people smile at me for this is it just a British thing? hmm

I sometimes have to say "sorry" to customers in my business even when its not my fault. Such as when their package is stuck in customs or they have to pay a charge.

If I say "Im sorry to hear ..." Im not apologising for something that was not due to my error but rather empathising for something annoying which has marred their shopping experience. Its just part of customer service to make the right noises.

I will happily put the bins out in my dressing gown, but only if I have cleaned my teeth and brushed my hair first.
