A lovely sunny good morning to you all from Severnside.

I love Broadway Sar. I’ve never been up to the towers though.

Despite saying I’d resist buying anything at the garden centre yesterday I couldn’t help myself. I came away with a few plants and herbs and some clothing items. The assistant asked me if I wanted the hangers and I said ‘No thank you, I have plenty of hangers. I just need some clothes to go on them.’ She said she’d have to remember that one! There was lots of nice things to look at. Later I had a lovely time with my brother and had a first holiday photo from Beechnutella of her and her fella enjoying a drink at the airport as they left for their holiday.

Today I’ll do some homeworking then hopefully pot up my container with the new succulents.

Have a good day everyone ???

Good morning all from a cloudy Glasgow.

Good luck with all the medical appointments. I misssed my dental appointment yesterday to have my new crown fitted. blush On my return from a small shop, I received an email informing me that I hadn't turned up. I phoned immediately to get a very frosty response, despite my grovelling apology to the receptionist.
I have no excuse, apart from the fact I am feeling overwhelmed by life at the moment.

I am looking forward to the Glesca Grannies meet up, but several trains have been cancelled already, so fingers crossed for a hassle free journey. I shall miss our dear friends, who have had to cancel, we will raise a cup to them.
I did consider driving to the Subway, but DH thinks it will be too busy and therefore risky. Three elderly people I know have been diagnosed with Covid in the last week and are quite unwell, so I must continue to be cautious.

I wish you all a pleasant day and hope those with sorrow in their lives and hearts have a gentle day.

Good morning everyone from a very bright and sunny ? Northampton. Am up early this morning to be sure the DGDs are up and ready for school, and just grabbing a cup of tea before they appear, but I can hear movement already. It was lovely to have them yeaterday, they were good company., And they.enjoyed the chocolate brownies I'd made for them!
Once they'd.gone to bed, it was comforting to know there was someone else in the house.

A bit of pottering this morning, then a health walk after lunch.

I did something out of the ordinary and spur of the moment last week! I commissioned a painting! I follow my original hometown page on Facebook, and an artist who posts there regularly posted a painting of a village church that he'd just done as a commission. So I asked if he'd do a painting of my father's village church, where he was a chorister and bell-ringer about 100 years ago. I spent a lot of time in the.village in my childhood and the place.holds many happy memories. The churchyard is the resting place of many family members, including DF and DM. The artist agreed and I am now eager to see.what he does.

Hope you get your phone fixed, Mick. Wishes to all for a good day.

Good morning from a dullish Leicestershire.

Up early as the cleaning fairies are coming - one of them is going to clean my windows! Also a man is coming to replace the motor on the reclining chair - it has never been right.
Later coffee with friends in town.

Sending love to all who need it.

Good morning everyone from Leicester. DH has gone off on a long bike ride and I’m intending to have a long morning out with the dog, while the builders next door demolish the conservatory! Then I’m meeting up with a friend for a birthday coffee (her birthday).

Thinking of all who are having such a tough time at the moment.
Take care ?

Good morning from an overcast NE where the heating is on so must be cool.
Busy day yesterday, did the washing and got it all dried in the garden, got everything ironed too.
A quiet day to myself today, just as well as I am in a lot of pain in my hands and shoulders.
Have an enjoyable meet up.

Good morning from a sunny Leamington.
I will be leaving here later for my long journey home. I love seeing my girls and their very busy lives.
Yesterday DD1 and I went to the Cotswolds village of Broadway. A very pretty village with lots of small independent shops.
We had a lovely lunch and bought a few things.
Enjoy your meet up the Glasgow grans and much love to everyone today xxx

Morning all from West Oxfordshire. As usual I have no idea what the weather is like as I haven’t peeked through the curtains yet! Younger son is arriving sometime today to stay for a few days. We haven’t seen him since Easter. OH has a face to face GP’s appointment this afternoon. He is quite concerned about his health as apart from restless legs syndrome he is worried he might have Lymes disease. At some point today I will be collecting some new bedding which I ordered from John Lewis yesterday and returning a dress. ??? to many of you.

Good morning from a sunny Torbay.

This morning I have four prospective new members to show round our theatre, two of whom offer box office skills which would be most welcome! After that, I’ll join the Props team, by which time it will be time for coffee, I hope!

Thinking of all with worries of any kind especially if it’s the health of a loved one. ?????

Urmstongran Tue 14-Jun-22 06:26:25
