SD, what’s your obsession with links?
We can find the new thread without being organised into doing so.
Do step aboard, but challenge yourself to relax and just follow the advice in the Côte D’Azur OP.
It is fundamental when producing output to provide references to external information to which one refers.
So if I write that there is another thread, then I should provide a link to that thread.
If I write that there is a painting by Paolo Uccello featuring an illustration of a man upon a white horse with a red and yellow hat and that the painting is an early attempt at including perspective to try to produce an impression of a three-dimensional display, then it is fundamental that I provide a reference to the painting.
Certainly I expect that you could find the painting on the web by using the information about the painting that I have provided, but that is not the point. If I mention the painting I should provide a link.
I have not done so here so as to help explain why including a link is important.
Though I expect that I will probably feel a need to include a link later, for completeness.
