Good morning all from a bright, sunny and breezy North Leicestershire.

I have a singing lesson this morning and I ought to iron. Also need to check on DBIL who has a fracture of his humeral neck. Looks like up to 6 months recovery time including rehab so not sure what happens to his wife in the meantime. She has dementia.

Sending love to all with problems and worries.

Good morning from a sunny NE ?
Slept badly, always do when I set the alarm.
Hairdresser coming at 9am, she will be here about an hour then I havethe rest of the day for housework.
My sister has had her flight to the UK cancelled again, she was supposed to arrive today then rearranged for Wednesday now she does not know when she will manage to come. It is stressful for her on top of her flat being pulled apart.
SIL came yesterday and did not leave until late because we had an Elton John concert in town and the traffic was bad on the route he had to take.
Hoping for a better day grandMattie
Thinking of Baubles, baby steps.

Good morning everyone from Inverness where it’s sunny and hopefully warmer than yesterday
Today I’m off to the Zumba class at the gym and then a bit of shopping in town. Maybe a bit of gardening later too and more washing as DD2s washer is still broken - hopefully fixed on Friday
Enjoy your empty marydoll!
Hope everyone finds something to enjoy today and take care all whatever the day brings ?

Good morning all from a sunny Suffolk coast.
We had a busy weekend with both sons here to help clear out sheds, garage and potting shed. We filled a large skip and now have lovely clear outbuildings. The boys then painted the summerhouse which is quite a job in itself. They worked so hard and it was lovely to have them here.
We treated them to a carvery Saturday night at the local pub, which was delicious. They had a Father’s Day breakfast with dh and a walk on the beach before leaving to join their own families for celebrations. Great dads, both of them!

Same skies here Grannysomerset. I’ll send a pic or two. Amazing!

Lovely for your dgs to go away with his uncle GM . A special relationship for him.

An easy day here for us, I hope . Enjoy the day in any way you can ?

Good morning all from Glasgow, at last we have sunshine, but it is only 8°C.

My cup runneth over. Normally I go to Mass on a Monday, but I have run out of injections ?, so I will be awaiting a delivery of injections by courier, otherwise I will be in deep trouble.
If they don't appear, I shall need to contact the hospital.
I have the added bonus of a double empty, as both the golfer and the lodgers are out! Unbelievable joy! ?

It is probably for the best that I stay in, as yesterday was unbelievably busy. Our parish function (the first one since the pandemic) was a great success.
The team of helpers were so happy to be back together again, what a happy (and noisy) place that kitchen was.
I came home to a surprisingly tidy house ( DD and SIL had been busy) and dinner already made. They have partly redeemed themselves! ?

During the afternoon, I got chatting to a parishioner, who has similar medical conditions to me. For the first time ever, I met someone, who totally understands what a vile condition RA is and has also experienced the awful fatigue and debilitating hot sweats that come out of the blue ( usually in company) and overwhelms us. She told me that she spends a lot of time in tears of frustration at how limited her life has become. It was indeed cathartic to offload how I felt, as I usually keep it all to myself.

Hopefully I will be able to find time for some gentle pottering in the garden, so much has been put on hold, due to my lack of energy and the presence of the home invaders! .

Good luck for the medical appointments, days out etc.
Praying for a non-problematic day for GM, and thinking of all those in the sick bay.?
Hoping you are finding find the doghouse comfortable, Urms. Hopefully we will see you soon.
Happy Monday, folks.

A lovely morning after a very chilly miserable weekend weatherwise. We too had the double rainbow last night and beautiful pink sky here in my little bit of Oxfordshire.
Working this week and then looking forward to 2 weeks off, we aren't going away as we want to be on hand for DD1 but will have days out and lots of happy time together. Will try and catch some time in the garden later, tomatoes are going mad and everything looks like it benefited from all the rain.
Hoping for sunshine for you all today.

Morning all

Looking like a lovely day here in S E Essex.

I am off to the gym, then I have a dental hygienist appointment (I am really phobic up she is gentle and understanding) afterwards I must either tackle the ironing myself or send it to the ironing service…

Keep safe and well folks ?‍♀️?

Good morning all from east Yorkshire. It’s a bit overcast at the moment but feels warm.

We had a lovely lunch out with the family yesterday. Afterwards GS invited himself to ours where we played tiddlywinks. When it was time to go home he said I’ve been as good as gold so I can have a treat. He plays us like a fiddle! He chose a handful of chocolate raisins.
Today DH is in the office today so an empty for me. I have housework to do, a hair appointment and will watch the tennis this afternoon. GS is going with school to the Streetlife museum in the city centre. They are going in by train. Our road is on one of the routes to the station so they may pass here and I will look out for them.

? to Urms hope she’s ok.

Take care everyone.

Good morning from sunny Colchester. I managed to get the washing dry before the storms yesterday evening. These were followed by a beautiful orange sky at sunset. Today is set to be dry and 23°.
I have an early fasting blood test so I'm lurking upstairs while DH eats breakfast.
Supermarket and sorting for the rest of the day.
Love to all ? x

Good morning from a sunny south east. Will be pottering in the garden today again, waiting for Covid to work its way out of my system, it’ll be a few more days yet I’m sure.
Thinking of GMattie and wishing you all some good moments in your day.

Ladyleftfieldlover Mon 20-Jun-22 06:55:51

Morning all from West Oxfordshire. Today I’ll be mainly taking lots of books to various charity shops. I also have a pile of laundry and my ironing pile is pretty big! Probably a Waitrose shop too. ???.

Good morning from a sunny Essex by the sea. The weather this week is looking good.
Today DD1 is 46, I won't be seeing her but will ring later to wish her a lovely Birthday.
Housework for me this morning, may go out for a walk by the sea later.
Have a lovely Monday everyone xx

Good Morning everyone from Severnside ?. A sunny blue sky and a warm one forecast.

I liked the style of your painting BlueSapphire.

My garage is looking slightly better with more floor space and I’m off for a tip run today. I’ll Hoover the car out on my return and give it a long awaited wash later this week. I’m slowly getting there with my tidying and decluttering.

Have the best day you can all ?

Good morning from a cloudy and breezy Torbay again. Yesterday felt quite wintry but I think today's temperatures look warmer.

Another one here with wide feet so I usually have to buy from Clarks to ensure comfort. Luckily, my ex husband's family worked at the factory so we benefited from discounts, most welcome with three children!

You must wonder if ever a day will pass without incident, grandMattie! Safe travels to your DGS and his uncle. A treat for them both!

Tonight I’m looking forward to starting rehearsals for ‘Allo, ‘Allo at The Little Theatre, in the hope of it being third time lucky for a planned fortnight's run in August. For the last two summers, we’ve had to postpone due to Covid restrictions.

A blood test (re sodium levels now I’m on Spironolactone) and my exercise class are the other highlights of my day!

Have a good week! ?????

GrannySomerset Mon 20-Jun-22 06:15:29

Yesterday evening was blessed by a perfect and brilliant double rainbow which lasted for over half an hour, and then followed by wonderful pink fluffy clouds like floating candy floss. A truly magical interlude and a real treat.

Nothing planned for today until flower club this evening but the garden always needs attention. Hope that granMattie has a less frustrating day today and that our various unwell members have a better day.

grandMattie Mon 20-Jun-22 06:00:04

Good morning from a bright E Kent.
Good luck with your shoes, Mick. I have very broad feet and hate shoe shopping.
More dramas at chateau gM yesterday. Various bits missing from the driver box and the nurse needed to come back.
DGS cam3 in the afternoon for the night. He and DS are off to Greece this morning for a few days’ holiday. The boy needs a bit of time off as well as time with a trusted father figure.
We’ll plod on. I’m hoping for an in house visit from the hospice today, but not holding my breath.
Hope today brings nothing but peace to all. Carpe diem. ?????

Good Morning Everyone,
Its a sunny start with some cloud here this morning inn brackley .
I had plans on a bus trip to Banbury to buy some shoes , but when looking online and doing a price comparison , it was cheaper from another online store a pair being £30 cheaper as well ,compared to the High Street brand, mind you the other is also well known mainly catering for larger /taller types like myself .
take Care,
Mick
